Likely the most uplifting Zelda game

Even when you consider the generally happy moods of The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, the brightest and cheeriest Zelda gme is The Minish Cap. Walking through Hyrule Castle Town even when most residents have left, is always a joy because of the music.

Actually, I do remember the Minish Village in the forest having the most joyful background music I can remember.
I mean, even the enemies are colorful and eye stuning.

Believe it or not, I found TP to be most uplifting. Going out to Hyrule field and watching the sunset was one of my favorite things to do. Same thing with TWW, only out at sea. TMC for me seemed a bit too happy. Especially Castle Town when almost everyone's gone.

Uximadesk

True, but then TP had the Arbitrer's Grounds...
No matter how happy TMC seemed to be, there was always those dark clouds reminding you of the current state of Hyrule.

Hi no Seijin

Dark clouds?  I think that was just the shadows of the clouds up in the sky.

Hmm... I'm pretty sure they only appeared after Vaati broke the seal, because when you first travel to the castle with Zelda, they are not there.

I have the Minish Village Theme on my iPod and it's a nice song to listen to. :)

But it depends on what I feel like playing that's the most uplifting for me.

ZeldaFreak

TMC is my favorite zelda game, but I really have no idea why... I just like it. Maybe its because its uplifting???  ???
Also, the very first zelda always uplifts me. For some reason old classic games like that appeal to me.  8)

Vaati

Sometimes it's the memories I have of playing the game. Like Twilight Princess reminds me of Sunday and watching Legend of the Seeker for some reason. I know I was playing it then, but that random memory just came up.

And MC reminds me of when my dad gave me the game at Starbucks on Christmas then I played it when I went home while the movie Brother Bear was on T.V.

MagmarFire

Heh, Ocarina of Time reminds me of Christmas time, too. It also reminds me of A Muppet Christmas Carol, probably because my dad bought both for me and my sister for Christmas back then. Awesome stuff. ^_^ It also reminds me of the roleplays that my friends and I had when we were younger. There's other stuff, but I'll spare you there.

Well, Twilight Princess kind of reminds me of Christmas, too, as well as playing home alone for hours and hours up north. Still a good feeling. :3

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Minish Cap is probably the most uplifting because of it's vibrant colors and it's joyful music. Everywheree you go except like the graveyard, the music is upbeat and catchy. Even during boss fights, the music is great. The world and monsters are so colorful, I guess playing the game makes you feel happier because of the effect of the game on your senses

Really late reply. >>

But, yeah, I started another game not too long ago.  Those clouds are moving about before Vaati broke the seal.

You also have to remember that TMC has the Wind Tribe, and considering where they live, it would make sense for part of Hyrule to have perpetual clouds over the land.
