Supposedly the Hylia had an exclusive interview with Eiji Aonuma (I say exclusively because it's so close to April Fools Day).

In it he laid out, tounge in cheek, a timeline which (of course!) matches exactly TDC's proposed timeline.

First:

Ocarina of Time is the first of those games you mentioned. Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker take places many years after Ocarina of Time. A Link to the Past and the NES games take place long after The Wind Waker.

So far: OoT -> MM -> TP -> TWW --->>> ALttP --->>> LoZ -> AoL

Then:

Four Swords Adventures takes place before A Link to the Past; we designed that game to be a prequel to that game. Four Swords has to come before that, and The Minish Cap before them all. So that should give you some clues as to where the games come.

Therefore: OoT -> MM -> TP -> TWW -> TMC -> FS -> FSA -> ALttP -> LoZ -> AoL

And what's TDC's timeline say (minus Oracle series and LA, which are unmentioned)?

The very same!

well u now need to discover where Phantom Hourglass will fit in, It is a sequal to WW I think, so it would be inbetween WW and MC
