I'm more interested in the merchandising that will come from this; I'm very much looking forward to possible pokedolls of the legendary trio (or a re-release of the lugia/ho-oh with the new minky fabric) OR, even better, a remake of the giant four foot mega plush. ;; Such a pipe dream, but hey whatever. I can dream.

I probably will get ahold of information as the time comes, if you so wish- I could probably get pictures of the new merchandise (in Japan) and possibly screenshots (in Japanese) if anyone wants.

Oh and it's for rizzle. Got a friend in Japan who was relieved they finally announced it because of the sheer amounts of speculation everyone kept posting all over LiveJournal this past week.

HeartGold and SoulSilver will be released in Japan this fall, possibly on or near Nov. 21, the 10th anniversary of the original release of their namesakes. International releases will likely come in mid-2010.

I'll definitely get the silver version, just beacsue I ALWAYS get the game you say second (Blue, Silver, Sapphire, Pearl), even though I doubt my brother will get the other, I might just have to get both : ). Shame they aren't remaking Crystal, but I suppose all the extra features in that will be in it anyway, I'll just miss the Suicune storyline thing.
G/S/C were definitely my favourite games.

I think they will put in Suicune, they always allow all the legends in the remakes.
