OK, what exactly happens to Zelda after the third level, where she does something to Midna?
And while we're at it, what exactly DID she do to Midna, the whole thing is very confusing, seeing how Zelda vanishes and then appears later with Ganondorf (HUUUYA!)

I think she fused souls with Midna to keep her alive, her body was transported somewhere but was missing her soul, Ganondorf captured it and waited.

But yeah, for what she did to Midna they probably fused souls. Remember the line "You've both been through so much..." Or something? It's cause her soul was there.

I thought it was zelda giving up her right to be present like link and become like the other town people in order for midna to survive and not be swallowed by the light
