Nintendo's E3... Yeah, the inner fanboy in me went insane.

Awesome Zelda retrospective.
Holy crap, flying of some sort was pretty much confirmed in Skyward Sword!
"DO A BARREL ROLL!"
What's that I hear? A NEW SMASH BROS. GAME!?
Luigi's Mansion 2.
An impressive-looking console.
Surprisingly-good confirmed third-party support.

Seriously, I don't understand how people can complain about this.

I seriously had tears in my eyes in the Tomb Raider trailer and demo, how could they do that to my Lara?!
They're rebooting the Tomb Raider franchise and making Lara a more realistic character.  And from the replies Game Informer got earlier this year after they published their Tomb Raider article, most fans, particular female gamers, are happy for the new portrayal.  After all, a strong female character (or any character, for that matter) can still be scared; because that's strength, doing what you need to do in a difficult and scary situation even though you would rather run away from it.

Also, can you guys post links to your sources?  It would be nice to read more than just, "Hey guys!  New Sly Cooper game!"

Yeah I get what they're doing, I've been following it ever since they first announced a new Tomb Raider months ago. And I love that they're rebooting it, it's nice that they're making her a lot more relatable, and less perfect. But still, I've grown up with the games, I guess it just shows that they've done a good job if it made me so emotional!
And I've been getting all my stuff from ign as it updates, plus some people posting on facebook who are actually watching it.

I think they have finally took a step up. I'm happy with the way Nintendo is turning out. And personally, the controller with the screen could be useful from time to time.

It'd be useful to me, as well. There have been times when I had to move my Wii to my room because my mom wanted to use the television--quite a few times, actually.

Did the new Kirby excite anyone else? The Wii one, I mean, though Mass Attack looks like a lot of fun too. But the Wii game reminds me of Kirby 64--my favorite in the series--but beefed up and improved. I am a happy camper.

I didn't notice a Kirby game...what's it called?

Well it's been a while since I've been on and I just had to get back to hear all the hype about E3! And OH EM GEE I was like a little school girl filled with bliss when I saw what was in store. I am skeptical about the Wii U tablet with how the shoulder buttons are though. And does anyone else know if the Zelda for the Wii U will be a port to adapt to it from the Wii or a new game? I was just thinking about that because they did have a playable demo on it and if the Wii U isn't arriving till next year and Skyward is this year I was like "how's that workin?" And I have to give Nintendo props for appealing to the hardcore gamers with that lineup while still keeping a nice causal feel with it.

And here's a link for Kirby :P

Wait! Like, the Kirby game that looked like it's been in vaporware for years? Hot dang! It's nice to see that turn up.

Was that King Dedede and Meta Knight I saw alongside Kirby? Pretty dang sweet! I'll make that a must buy when it arrives.

I wanna know how they're gonna do the Wii U controls the most for a Smash Bros. game, it will either be super epic or just a repeat of the Wii's.

Here's hoping it will be a combination of both Melee and Brawl, except bumped up to 11.

But wasn't Brawl's technically the same as Melee's, only with different physics, no Wavedashing, and tripping?

So, from what I gather, this is how the next Smash is gonna work...

There are two games. One for the WiiU, one for the 3DS. The console version is your standard improvement on the series; more characters, modes, etc. The handheld, however, lets you create a character and improve its stats, customizing its moveset and such to your liking. Your character from the 3DS version can be transferred to the WiiU and fight against all the standard characters, or against others online.

That would be really cool, if they can make character creation easier and, yet, with a wide range of control.

Here's hoping they make their online servers better. I heard that, for Brawl, they use SOAP, which I hear is relatively slow.
