I'm not sure if anyone can help me but...

I've already asked Tacheon but he hasn't replied yet, but I'd figure I'd post a topic, too.

I love Team Fortress 2 but I'm starting to get really fed up with the way it's acting.

First, the textures. The colors are wrong, like for the classes. They'll be really dark so I can't see what color they are and know if they're an enemy or not unless I put my mouse over them.
Second, the freezing. Now TF2 does this, a lot. usually if there are a lot of people on a map it freezes and I have to shut down that program because it won't itself. And when it loads maps it usually freezes in the middle of loading it, too, so it takes awhile to actually be able to play it. And then right before it's done loading the screen becomes a red tint (sometimes with another loading screen that you can barely see over the one that was already there)
It skips a lot, too. This is usually what makes it freeze.
Now, this one is fairly recent. My textures are really messed up. At first it was fine, and then it froze. I played a little bit of HL2 and after that I played some more TF2. When I loaded a map, it was all disco-rainbow-Willy Wonka-like. I can't see where I'm going, and the classes are still so dark I can't see who's who.

I'm thinking it might be my computer since it's not a gaming computer but I don't have any other computer to play it on unless it can play on a Mac.

yeah, sorry, I wish I could help. :c I don't know a whole lot about PC gaming at all... it might be your video card going out or something, though.

Try upgrading your graphics card.  A lot of higher-end graphics cards are selling for cheap nowadays.

Eh, most laptops can be upgraded, you just have to be careful.  They have special kinds of graphics cards, but they're still available if you look.
