Quotecharacters that aren't well known won't grab fans as well, it's sad but it's true, because above anyone i want canas from the first english fire emblem to be in the next game, only great unit you get that can use dark magic

Aren't there already enough popular Fire Emblem characters though? I mean, Marth and Ike will get the hardcore series fans and the hardcore American Gamecube fans. Whether or not the next Fire Emblem character is important shouldn't make that much of a difference in how many people play the game. If a character who was more of a cult character was put in though, it could get fans who don't really like the main characters.

I was thinking, and I know it is a crazy idea since she is not a Nintendo character, but what about Faith from Mirror's Edge, she is a fast but somewhat weak charachter, but I think she would make a good fighter.

vB- Disarm: a special kind of counter that steals the item of the enemy if it connects, it looks like a supplex move
B> Noname: it works like Diddy Kong's move where he jumps on peoples faces, but Faith jumps on their back, after that, she can control their movement for a while and also do damage
B-Dunno, a charge attack?
^B- Knee attack: much like CP's knee, but this goes upward

Final Smash- Reaction Time: everything slows down for Faith

What do you think? Or are you still going through each FE character?

Hmm...was she ever on a Nintendo Console? That's pretty much the major requirement for being in the game. If we're going by third-party characters, though...heh, the Prince from Prince of Persia would be cool.

Well, if that is what we're doing, I would have to say Galen Marek from the Force Unleashed would make a welcome appearance.

B- Saber Throw; In mid air, it will be Force lightning, capable of stunning opponents, as if their sheilds were busted
<- -> B- Force push (Charge up to unleash a powerful KO-worthy blast)
^ B- Force dash\ can knock opponents up or sideways, depending on the angle of impact, and can also recover
v B- Force Maelstrom\ Will blast everyone in a radius back a good distance, the higher the damage, the better the fly

Smash up- Force blast
Smash down- A blast of Force lightning zaps everyone in a radius
Smash side- A blast of force lightning

Grab- Use the force to grab from a short distance, like Mewtwo in the good old days, and the up-throw is an instant knock-out at 70% damage or higher

Hi no Seijin

Pretty sure The Force Unleashed came out on the Wii.

Hmmm, third-party character....Cecilia Adlehyde, from Wild Arms/Wild Arms Alter Code: F.  Partly because I'd love to see her victory dance updated.  Rudy Roughnight and Jack Van Burace, both from the same game, would be good choices too.

I might only be recommending this because I'm on a Dissidia high right now, but a Nintendo era Final Fantasy character might be fun for Smash Bros.

Hi no Seijin

I believe I have already suggested it here, but if I didn't, Refia and Luneth from FF III.  Or do you mean back in the days of the NES and SNES?  Because then I have Palom and Porom.  I'd really love Rydia in it, but I put Alys, from FFTA2, in my roster, and she's already a summoner.

We could have Kefka.  That'd be a lot of fun.

Or maybe even...GILGAMESH!

Pale Dim

KEFKA ALL THE WAY, BABY! (My favorite of all villains. Eat your heart out, Sephy.)

That would be awesome. I would play that guy all the time. You have my full respect.

But I also think that Terra or Cyan would be cool, too. And along side them, Sabin or Shadow.

Like I said, I'm on a big Dissidia high right now, so any character 1-6 would be fine with me.

So wait wait.... there is a new game or are we just discussing what we want it to be like?

I'm not sure, let me READ THE TOPIC and find out.

ROTFL

Wow, that contained maximum win. Sorry, Legion! But, you gotta admit, that was epic.

Anyway.......................

Yes, I know. I have it. Lots and lots of fun, it is. So much, it shouldn't be legal! I just wish there was a level selection.
But now that you think about it, maybe an epic win would be the spoony bard. And that should be his name, too!

Announcer: Kefka! Link! Starkiller! Spooooony Baaard!

Gilbert, named Edward in the U.S. releases?  Ewwwwwwwww!

Sure, the spoony bard has his strengths, but I favored Rosa, Rydia, Yang, and Edge for my final team.

What? You don't like Cecil? I like Cecil! But I would to see Kain in there as well.
