Need help choosing a gift

OK, so my best friend is turning 18 soon and I want to buy him a game, but I can't decide which oneto give him. I noticed recently that both Dead Space and MGS4 are now 30 USD each, which is great news, but I don't which one to get him. We have both played the demos together and he doesn't seem to particularly root for one (although he does like both games a lot).

What do you think? Of course, I'm open for more suggestions, as long as they stay budget friendly.

MGS4 is AMAZING OMFG but only if you've played all others.  Otherwise it's fun gameplay but makes no ****ing sense, and isn't that great.

If you're not hardcore into MGS, get Dead Space.  That's a great game :>
