According to Steam DNF isn't out until June 13. >_>

PUSHED BACK AGAIN?!?

The game needs to come out already! It's been cursed long enough!

Twilight Wolf

It wouldn't be Duke Nukem Forever if it weren't delayed at least one last time. And it was.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Pale Dim

Ugh. Well, you know, some of the best games were delayed many times, so if Duke Nukem is any good, I would've expected it to be delayed. EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN TWELVE YEARS IN THE MAKING!!!!

Apparently Duke agrees, since he says it after the opening in the game.

So, I got my copy of Game Informer today.  I was flipping through the previews, and "Super Smash Bros." caught my eye.  Then I read the rest of the sentence:  "Cartoon Network meets Super Smash Bros."  *jaw drop*

According to Bryan Vore, the previewer, Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion "feels exactly like Smash Bros."  From what I read, it plays more or less like Smash Bros., and it will be for the 3DS.  The cast of characters draw from past and present shows and includes all three Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Numbah One, Mac and Bloo, and Ben 10.  Punch Time will be released May 24.

Apparently, Captain Planet is a playable character.

...Okay, who saw that coming? O.o

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

He's gonna take pollution down to zero.

Hi no Seijin

Time to drag this topic back out.

I tried out the Metal Gear Solid 3D demo, and I didn't like it.  It wasn't because I was failing at the stealth part (though I was failing at the stealth part); it's the camera that killed the experience for me.  Instead of staying centered behind Snake at all times, it was stationary and had to be moved manually with the A, B, X, and Y buttons, and it was frustrating to operate, especially when I failed at the stealth parts and had to fight my way out of the situation.  Instead of giving my full attention to my enemies, I had to run around them, trying to dodge their bullets, and at the same time I had to move the camera around so I could try to see where I was running and who I had to take out.  It was a bad sort of chaos that had me wishing for the Resident Evil controls.

With that said, I hope Nintendo has a Kid Icarus: Uprising demo available in the next couple of weeks.

Funny you should bring this back up, because Tales of the Abyss came out just the other day for the 3DS. Amazon has already shipped it my way, so I should be getting it next week. :D

That looks like a good game.

The Playstation Blog has a list of PSP titles available for download on the PS Vita.  Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep isn't on the list, but more games will be added, and I would be surprised if KHBBS didn't make it on there.

This list has made me feel better about the Vita, which will not have a UMD drive.  Most of the games I wanted to get for the PSP is on the list, and the one game I was really worried about not being on there, Wild Arms XF, is on the list.

Oh, hey, let's not forget, Japan's getting Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance next month!  I really hope we get it in time for the holidays, because that's what I'm going to ask for Christmas this year.

Knowing Square, I wouldn't be. >_> But you never know.

Square's saying they're opting for a rapid development cycle in the localization department. It's probably wishful thinking on my part, but it probably won't be unreasonable to assume we'll get it before Christmas rolls around. Hey, we may get it in September, which are the months we got 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep. Since the game celebrates the tenth anniversary of the series (man, every celebrated game series is having an anniversary these days), it's in their best interest to release it in the same year.

It's finally coming.

Also, Hi no Seijin.  It seems as though they used the godawful camera system from the original Snake Eater release rather than the free moving camera from the Subsistence re-release.

No idea why they would do that.

MagmarFire

ABOUT FREAKING TIME.

Also, isn't Snake Eater 3D a port? If it is, I guess that's why the camera system is the way it is.

It's a port, yes.  But the HD re-release for PS3 and 360 used the improved version of the game and the camera system that came with it.

Seems lazy for them to revert back to the old camera now.

Hi no Seijin

Here's some Pokemon news brought to you via Game Informer.  Pokemon Blank and White 2 was announced in Japan recently.  That's pretty much the entire article right there.

Hi no Seijin beat me to it, but here's a couple pictures to whet your appetites.  It appears to be Kyurem fused with Zekrom and Reshiram respectively.
