I do not understand some of your more complex remarks. I was aware that "JQ and I" was the correct way to say something. Another question I may ask: Why would mathematics be harmful?

A general rule of thumb - Remove the other person and just use I/me.  "You wish you were as cool as I" doesn't make sense, "You wish you were as cool as me" does.
