Why the hell not? We might as well have one of these too.

Hi no Seijin

In an attempt to create conversation....

Season 5 of Psych premieres July 14! =D

And USA's new series, Covert Affairs, premiere's July 13.  It has my interest caught.

Can't wait for the fall season for CBS to start, especially NCIS, CSI NY, and Criminal Minds, all three of which ended on definite cliffhangers.  Thankfully, The Big Bang Theory, which moved to Thursdays, will be airing at 8 pm, so I don't run the risk of having to miss it because of Grey's Anatomy.

Twilight Wolf

I'm not really looking forward to anything on TV this fall aside from the new seasons of The Office and 30 Rock... That's all that's left to watch now, really.

I love watching Monk when it's on, since our local NBC station airs reruns of it, but it's somewhat erratic, schedule-wise, and I'd like to watch it from the beginning if I could.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Hi no Seijin

In another attempt to kick start this topic....

I watched TNT's new show, Rizzoli and Isles, last night, and I enjoyed it.  The only thing is that it sort of assumes you read the books it's based on (last night's episode were based on the books The Surgeon and The Apprentice, both by Tess Gerritsen), but they do provide some short flashbacks to the books, and it was easy to pick up on what happened.  I definitely know what book I'm going to (try to) pick up on the library Friday.

On USA, their new show Covert Affairs premieres tonight at 10, and then tomorrow is the Psych season premiere, also at 10 pm.  Covert Affairs is from the same guy who brought us "The Bourne Supremecy," so if you liked those movies, then you should probably check out that show.  And I hope Psych picks up where the Mr. Yang story arc left off at in the Season 4 finale.

Melina Kanakaredes, who played Detective Stella Bonasera, is leaving CSI: NY. D=  Hopefully Stella is put on a bus rather than being killed off.  Also, CSI: NY will be moving from Wednesday night to Friday night, most likely to make room for Criminal Mind's spinoff.

i dont watch much television 8) i dont keep up with any "shows" except for so you think you can dance because they have some awesome coreographers and i have a passion for dancing. IF ANYONE ELSE HERE WATCHES IT, YOU GET 100,000 COOKIES!
but other than that, i just watch an occasional documentary on the histroy or science channel... haha

Hi no Seijin

I can't watch shows like that; I always find that the judges have ridiculously high and sometimes unfair standards, and I suspect that the producers tell them to act like giant douchebags about it to play up some drama for the camera.  Because, you know, it's television and someone's spirits has to be broken for it to be good TV.  And then there's the fact that in the back of mind I know that with different judges, the losers could be winners and vice versa, because so many of these shows have contests where the judging is subjective, no matter how objective they try to make it.  If a judge for a cooking contest doesn't like spicy food, and you made spicy food, then you're now at a severe disadvantage, no matter how well you cooked your entry.

But that's just me; I'm not a competitive person.

Of course, the standards are set incredibly high because the judges are trying to find who they think is the best. The best can live up to such standards.

The spicy food thing speaks to me the most, though.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

If you're a fan of InuYasha, you'd probably like to know that they have recently made episodes for all of the manga chapters they didn't get to when the anime series ended years ago.

Necroposting alert.

Is anyone here a fan of Community on NBC? I've seen a few episodes and I quite like it, so I'm going to try and watch the series soon after it comes out on DVD on the 21st. Season 2 begins on the 23rd, and Betty White is going to guest star in the first episode.

Hi no Seijin

NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles premiere September 21, and The Big Bang Theory premieres the 23, all three on CBS.
