Hi no Seijin

Hmmm, the more scared you are, the tougher the enemies become.  And they tougher they are, the more scared you become.  Unless you manage to calm down.  I dunno about this.

Pea-Tear Griffin

I don't normally get scared over a video game... does that mean all my enemies will be like little girls?

Assuming the enemies are tough to start with, that would be AWESOME!!! However, that does mean you'll have to assume you'd get scared, which has various bounds from person to person, of course.

But does it hint that the next Zelda will be a relatively-scary one? Well, why not? I think we got more info out of it than the article shows at face value.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Fishalicious

Oh. ... ):

I like the idea, but it looks to be based on people's physical reactions- shaking, sweating, or maybe if I read the article, just pulse. But as a rather nervous person (I shake more than someone with Parkinsons) I feel this will negatively influence the way I play the game.

It'll just make it more challenging for you :3

Pale Dim

If that's the case, I hope they don't take us back to any place like the Shadow Temple. The music was scary enough for me, and with today's graphics, I probably won't last long!

I would love that so much though....

That would be awesome. It would be awesome to have more Zelda-induced nightmare fuel. :D

The Glamour Nazi

The darkness of a MM dungeon with the creepy music of Forest temple with TP graphics.

*Squeals in fright)

MagmarFire

And with screeching Twilit Messengers and ReDeads. Even better.

Hi no Seijin

Oh, gods, the ReDeads would never stop humping Link's face.  I think you mean even worse.

TP Zelda

I think a scary Zelda game would be awesome.

I mean, MM and OoT were probably the scariest, considering the darkness and Gibdo's/Redeads, the moon falling in three days, etc, and the ReDeads/Gibdos (were tehre Gibdo's in OoT? o...O), Wall Masters...It's also scary how I've forgotten so many enemy names. ;~;

But if Zelda actually makes me scared like it used to, I'd be dang happy. 8D
Especially if the enemies were wayyy harder, and they had a new evil guy that's not Ganondorf...o...O

Maybe even a game without Zelda. *nodnod*

I completely agree. I don't know what the difference is yet, but OoT was the scariest Zelda game, while Twilight Princess didn't scare me in the slightest. I'm confused about. Majora's Mask got scary when the Day-3 theme was playing(which I totally found and i-poded for its overall badKaminaness). On the other hand, I don't like the idea of having to keep a finger inside of a device while I play a video game. And if it hooks up to the Wiimote, how would one use the nunchuck? I hope Nintendo focuses more on awesome story and gameplay rather than superfluous extensions to the controller and sensor.

MOD EDIT: I can't wait for those rules to become slightly less strict... I'll let the others decide if this is warnable.

Until then, here's a perfectly acceptable synonym. Oh, yeah.

edit: whoa, did I type that here? Guess I got a little too comfortable  ;)
I'll do my best not to let that happen again.

Vaati

Interesting concept for the game. If they follow through with it, I'll just have to be sure not to act nervous.  :D
