Is anybody else not getting sound from Youtube?

The sound is working fine for me.  However, YouTube has been giving me a problem with adjusting the volume.  When I have a video playing, I can not change the volume on my computer using the buttons on my keyboard unless I click somewhere outside the actual video.  It's getting pretty annoying.  Although it seems to be limited to Chrome because I just tried watching a YouTube video in Firefox and I didn't have any trouble adjusting the volume.

But if it's all Flash-related, I'm not sure I see why it would function that drastically from browser to browser, especially if they all use the same engine. Perhaps Chrome locks out some capabilities with its plugins?

I always have computer trouble. I come from a family that knows nothing about computers, and I don't know anything either. I mean, my father once downloaded something that gave our Firefox and Ask.com toolbar! Obviously he knows nothing!!
