But once again it is Nintendo, knowing our luck they know we're all gonna over think it and believe that he's just a sub-boss just for them to make him the real one xD
Go n-ithe an cat thú is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat

Vaati

I hope not. I really hope they have some awesome new characters in the game.

MagmarFire

I don't see why they wouldn't. Have you seen that awesome squirrel-mole dude!?

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Vaati

Squirrel-mole? What are you talking about?

MagmarFire

It's that woodland-like creature that was shown in the trailer. The one that looks kind of like a fat squirrel?

Vaati

Oh, that thing! I wonder if that'll be it's own little race like the Anoukis. Not one of those races that sort of "take over" (for lack of a better term) like the Minish or Twili.

MagmarFire

Only time will tell. That said, if they reintroduce the long-forgotten Dekus, that'd be cool.

You know, now that you mention it, it's been a long time since I've seen some Dekus. I think the last time was in Minish Cap and they just made brief appearances selling you stuff.

i think Zelda needs to stick to the old races and forget making up new ones.
i loved having the zoras and the gorons in twilight princess but sadly missed dekus and gerudos...
idk, i just feel attached to the old races and dont really care for the new ones.

Pale Dim

Yes. I missed the Gerudos as well. I was sad to learn they were not in Twilight Princess. Dekus...meh. It'd be cool to see them on a good console game again.

Either way,  the battle against Ghirahim looks awesome. He catches your sword midswing instead of blocking it!!!

Actually, there was one possible Gerudo in Twilight Princess aside from Ganondorf. Her name was Telma, and she ran that bar in Castle Town. She has red hair, tan skin, and jewelry on her face. If the Gerudo simply integrated with Hylians, it would explain their absence in Twilight Princess. It's a neat little theory, and nothing more though.

It's a possibility. Of course, Telma had pointy ears and one thing I've noticed about Gerudos (at least the ones in OoT), is that they have round ears. But that probably has little to do with it.

Anyway, I'm confident that there will be at least one new race in SS. I mean, Ghirahim and Sword Girl (whatever her official name will be) are definitely something else.

MagmarFire

Well, in Fie's case, definitely; she's a sword.

...I can't say I've ever thought of swords being a different species, but now Zelda has made it possible.

Well, hey. Who woulda thunk Zelda would make a race of train-people?  ;D As for the Gorons...they're sort of a mix between gorillas and rocks. Nintendo may just as well make a race of sword-people. After all, if Ghirahim is one of Fie's kind, it would make sense since he's tall and slender like a sword. (no sexual pun intended)
