Rules are simple. There is a limit to how many characters (that is, letters, numbers, and everything else on your keyboard) you can include in a post. When you quote a post that has a quote (or quotes) in it, all the characters in the post you are quoting and the posts quoted in that post are included, and several other characters to link to those posts. Eventually, if we keep doing this, someone will have a post too long to register on TDC. The last person who can quote every post without going over the forum's limit wins.

Now, you can fill your post with whatever you want, be it an image, an incredibly long paragraph, or nothing at all, but they must quote the entire chain of quotes that began with this post, which will be the first one quoted. In the instance that two members quoted from the same post at the same time, thus breaking the chain, the first one will be counted, and the second one will be ignored.

cool story, bro
I know right
Indeed it is.
It's like a million voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

So in the Warring States period of Japanese history, coffins were not like the type we westerners have. They are either very large wooden-bucket shapes, or they are giant pots. Sometimes they are put in a lake rather than buried. I know this because pver the past few days I have seen Japanese movies set in this time period.

I've heard of that from my granddad. Did you know technically they also invented the taco, they don't call it that of course and also it is made with a rice flower, but either way they had it years ahead of us.

Viva la Japan!
I respect the Japanese even more now.
The Japanese owe me five Fire Emblem games.

My dog is attemtping to dig trough the rug in this room right now because apparently something is under there. This is going to go on for a while, sadly.
My dog does that too.  Meanwhile, my other dog eats whatever she can get her mouth and tear apart with her teeth.  Like roadkill.  Or frogs.  Or a golf ball.
That last one hurts coming out. Trust me.

I want to know the story behind this, even though it will probably be disturbing.
I second that motion
No, you don't.
AH, but I do.
it's too long to tell right now.

In the battle for Middle Earth, one Hobbit will brave the Orcs of Mordor to tell Sauron that he forgot to turn off the stove in Dol Guldur.  Sauron will then blame it on the Istari known as Mithrandir and ask the Hobbit to go to Dol Guldur to turn off the stove.  The Hobbit will say that he already have and ask a favor of Sauron.  Sauron will agree to this favor, and the Hobbit will then tell Sauron how much he had always wanted to see the forges hidden in Mt. DOOM.  Sauron will then have the Hobbit escorted to Mt. DOOM, where the Hobbit will then slay his Orc escort and hold the One Ring over the magma.  The Hobbit will then tell Sauron that he was just kidding and that the stove in Dol Guldur is still on.  The Hobbit will then drop the One Ring into the Pit of Mt. DOOM and run out of the volcano, racing the lava down the mountain where he will jump onto the back of one of the Eagles.  And thus will Middle Earth be saved.
Or they could just fly in on the eagle in the first place while the rest of the fellowship moons Sauron.

I understood none of this.
