Legend of Zelda Race Popularity Poll

Which is your favorite race from the Legend of Zelda series? While I know what I'm expecting to win, It'd be cool if you'd surprise me. My personal favorite race has to be the Deku. I love the little critters to death, and I've already voted for them. My second favorite probably fall on the Sheikah, because come on... They're freaking Sheikah. How do you get cooler than that?

My vote: Deku.

And I'm voting Sheikah. The fact that I created a language around them is a testament.

Gerudo because:

1. They live in a desert.
2. They are pretty much all female so you can make hanky-panky jokes about them.

I have several favorites, but the Gerudos are my top favorite, hands down.  My inner-lesbian will always pick the race that is nearly all women.

Other favorites include the Garo (who aren't included as I made them a race, but for all we know, canonically speaking the Garo ninjas could have been Sheikahs), Sheikah, faerie, Kokiri, and Twili.  Tied for third are humans, Hylians, and Gorons, with Ritos (who you forgot in your list; oh noes!) coming in fourth.

I found the Tokays to be somewhat lovable and would love to see them again, as well as the Subrosians; I suppose they would be included in fourth place.  Really, Nintendo, don't just introduce new lands and then leave us hanging; bring them back for more games.

The Dekus and Koroks never really impressed me, and while Zora Link is awesome, I've found myself not really wanting to write any Zoran characters for my fanfics.  I much prefer to make them a reclusive race; they exist, and the other races of Hyrule know that they still do, but that are rarely seen anymore.

I always liked Zoras for some reason.  Maybe it is because I enjoyed playing as Zora Link in Majora's Mask.

Loved the fishbone guitar. Found an exact replica online, but lacked the funds before. Now that I have a job, it's all going towards college.
