The Retyrne of Byrne? [Spoiler Alert]

Anyway, so I already warned you of the spoiler in the title, so here it goes. Do you think Byrne will return in a new game? Because Anjean said that even though Byrne's body is gone, his spirit will return in a new form and not have any memories of his old life.

I mean, if you think about it, they did the same thing with Linebeck. Linebeck Senior died somewhere between PH and ST and his grandson, Linebeck III is pretty much a carbon copy of the old Linebeck from PH. Still greedy, egocentric, and all that jazz.

What do you think? Will they bring back Byrne like they did with Linebeck or was Byrne just a one-time character?

If they did, it would kind of defeat the purpose of killing him off to begin with, in my opinion. You don't just bring characters back like that after killing them off dramatically without going through Hell to try to do so, figuratively speaking.

However, if they do go with the Generation Xerox route, then it's possible that they will without making it seem like they're the same people or identical in their character status.

That's a pretty good point. I mean, if they were going to get rid of Linebeck for good (which they kind of did...but then didn't) they would have killed him off in a dramatic sense, too.
