hmm...he thought the wind tribe had the most power because they were the only survinving ancient tribe.Besides, if he believed them to be most powerful, why woulw he want zlo to be one? Personally, I would have turned him into a fly.Sure, he'd annoy you til he died, but that would be what, three days?

Vaati

I'm surprised Vaati didn't turn Ezlo to stone as well. Because as a hat, Ezlo can still talk, if he were a statue, he couldn't do anything.

Hi no Seijin

Vaati was still new to the power he held.  He probably didn't realize right away he could turn people into stone.  Or maybe he thought turning Ezlo into a hat was more suitable for him.  Then there's the possibilty that Vaati didn't see Ezlo as a threat and didn't want to waste his power turning the Minish lore master into stone; Zelda, on the other hand, had impressive magical powers that she used to (in vain) fight off Vaati.

Hmm, you've given me a lot to think about.  :-\

Gamefreak

As "villianous" as villains are, they always manage to give the hero some sort of fighting chance.  Like they're sssslllooowwwlyy killing the hero in order to give time for help to arrive.

Mysterious F.

I'm the type to capture them right off the bat with the most powerful monsters, then torture him in a room that can only be entered or exited by me, and slowly kill them.  ;D

Vaati

I would be too afraid that I would be stopped by Ezlo or Link or something. So I'd put a real strong curse on them to make sure they don't.

Peka

I really wonder why that before the boss battle Vaati doesn't say "hold on a second" and then take the last of the force out of Zelda.  That's what I would do anyway.  :)

But I think he turned Ezlo into the hatlike bird creature because of his staff and as sort of a joke for the hat Vaati stole.

DW

He was mad with power and thought that he had enough to finish off Link, so he wouldn't be stabbed in the back or anything while he finished the drain.

Hi no Seijin

Peka, if you were a guy trying to save a childhood friend, would you let the bad guy finish a procedure to acquire ultimate power, thereby allowing him a pretty good chance of crushing you like an insect, or would you run up all kamakaze style and stab the crap out of him?

Of course, Vaati could've just simply summoned some Dark Nuts or something to distract Link while he completed what he was doing.  But bad guys never think of these things, and then they wonder why they (sometimes epicly) failed.

Not to mention they (sometimes) reveal they're plan. Duh! No wonder you're plans always fail! If you would just keep your yapper shut, then maybe you'd win once in a while!  :D

Peka

Well, I mean right before the battle starts Vaati opens up a hole where Link is standing and Link obviously falls down it into the battle room.  Vaati follows suit moments later.  Why doesn't he just stay and drain the rest of the light force from Zelda and then totally crush Link?  Except the fact that the player could never win.... but realistically...

Vaati

Touché! If I were Vaati, (I wouldn't be able to be his fangirl!) No, really, I would just make Link fall down the hole, throw some more darknuts at him while I drain the Light Force out of Zelda, then I'd crush him.  ;)

I suppose he figured that he already had enough power then to take him out. But of course, as you know, he was dead wrong. :P

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Vaati

That's why I say, "Play it safe! Make sure you have all of the Light Force!"
