Evilbob, the weapon you're referring to is called the Harbinger which upgrades to the Supernova.  And Evilbob, I can assume you're European since you called it Ratchet: Gladiator since that's the European Title

Sorry Evilbob, I just assumed.  Anyway.  In Ratchet: Deadlocked(Gladiator) when you get your weapons to V99, they shoot rainbow bullets.  So when the Supernova gets to V99, SUPER BIG BEAMS OF RAINBOW DEATH!

I assume it's a man-made weapon. Therefore, it cannot match the power of the gods. The Triforce can do more than just grant its holder a wish. In the Japanese version of ALttP it's stated that each piece has a 'soul', or something like that.
