Eh, I'm still happy I went with Sony. Makes me wonder just what is going on back there, though... I've heard rumors Anonymous is behind it because of Sony's treatment of the guy who jailbroke the PS3, but then again whenever something undesirable like this happens I think they're always the first ones people think about. In this case, though, it's Sony's own fault for creating a security hole in the first place, which is something that all software engineers need to try to avoid when writing software. To quote two wise ones: "All input is evil until proven otherwise."

In any case, I don't know who is to blame for this. It doesn't concern me as an XBox player, but it does concern me as a gamer. I have a lot of good friends that are going to feel royally screwed for this.

I don't think it's Anonymous.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Anon usually just does stuff for lulz.  I've never heard of identity theft stuff from them.
