If you love the Gamecube, boycott the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy! On one episode, (I don't know if there are more.) Billy, the stupid one of the bunch was playing, a cube-shaped game system, labeled "Lame Cube".  Now that really makes me mad, because I love the Gamecube! (They also make fun of pokemon, to those who are pokemon fans out there.) Their trying to brainwash the children not to buy the Gamecube!!! They can make fun of everything else, but NOT MY BELOVED GAMECUBE!!!!  To those who think the Gamecube is lame, think about this: If no one buys a Gamecube, Nintendo will go out of business, and there would be no Zelda to play.

Evilslayer

No, they wouldn't. Did Sega go out of business after the Saturn? They had three prior consoles (SG-1000, Master System and Mega Drive/Genesis) and one or two handhelds. Only one of them was succesfull. Yet, they made the Dreamcast.

Nintendo has a different story. Back in the late 80's they dominated 80-90% of the industry, and earned more profits than all the big Hollywood companies put together. If we take every single handheld console ever sold that was not made by Nintendo and compare they're sales with every single Nintendo handheld ever sold Nintendo dominates with 94%.

A failing GC would not harm Nintendo much. Those people probably picked the GC because the word game sounds like lame.

Personally, I think all consoles this generation has been pretty lame.

But imagine, playing The Legend of Zelda on PS2 or on an Xbox. It doesn't seem right... :(

Evilbob

but that wouldn't happen.
Nintendo would release another console, and zelda would stay with them.
;D :D You = ???

Gamefreak

Yeah, Nintendo isn't ready to sell out like Sega did.

Evilslayer

And even if some people decided to boycott the GC that wouldn't hurt the sales much. And besides, Nintendo is by far the true winners of this generation. They earn far more profit from gaming than Microsoft and Sony.

MagmarFire

Particularly Microsoft, I suppose. (Down with the XBox!)

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Although it would take 3 people just to pick up the Xbox.

Gamefreak

Nah, Bill Gates anticipated the destruction of the Xbox and armor coated it.  It can only be destroyed at the place of it's creation, Mt. Doom.  There's an inscription on the top.  It's written in the tongue of Mordor but in the Common Tongue it reads:

In the land of Microsoft where the shadows lie
One console to rule them all.
One console to find them.
One console to bring them all and in the darkness binds them.

Here's the complete legacy to be fitted as best as I could.

three consoles for Sony, who is smallest of the three( console size wise)
seven for Sega, who is no longer no more
nine for Nintendo, wisest of the three
One for Microsoft, in their dark room

In the lands of Microsoft, where the shadows lie
One Console to rule them all
One Console to find them
One Console to bring them and in the darkness, binds them
In the land of Microsoft where the shadows lie

MagmarFire

Wow. It's amazing how connected the XBox is to Sauron's intention to take over Middle-Earth, eh? 8)

I think that may be pretty close on the number of consoles, would somebody elaborate on this?
