With the way I've been typing lately, I probably sound like a Mario pessimist.  But Bowser has been lowered from Super Villian to that comedial villian who sometimes helps the good guys.  And I believe that a villian who helps the good guys isn't a good villian.

Edit: Also, it seems like this is the SuperMario mega cool club rather than Nintendo.

Ok.  I assumed you would eventually be switching topics.  Anyway, The Zelda series is one of those series that had never needed any real change such as Kart racing.  It's always provided an intriguing storyline, good scripts, plenty of action, and a certain comical relief character that we've all come together to hate on a person level.
