I don't wanna see the movie, they leave out so much, that and the lines on the release night...

I'm going this afternoon with my mum (had to book though), I always try and see them asap as I have loved them all!
And I'm also going next Thursday with my friends.

The way I figure it, for movies based on books, there are five categories.

Type 5 - The movie shouldn't have been made because the book shouldn't have been published.
Type 4 - The movie did a horrible job of portraying an otherwise well written book.
Type 3 - The movie was good, but it did not do the book justice.
Type 2 - The movie and the book are equal.
Type 1 - The movie was actually better than the book.

In my opinion, the first two Harry Potter movies are Type 2 movies.  The third movie dropped down to Type 3, and they stayed there for the fourth and fifth movies.  I haven't seen the sixth and seventh movies yet, and I'm not particularly eager to watch them or the eighth movie.

i went to the midnight premier because i was invited by some friends of mine. i walked out satisfied.

i think if your a fan of the movie or the books, you will at least somewhat enjoy it.

I certainly enjoyed it! I think they handled it really well! They did take a couple liberties with the source material here and there, but in my opinion, it was really minor that it didn't matter anyway.

And they rearranged some of John Williams's music toward the end. Just like old times. :'>

I would, but I have no more money left whatsoever. One of the guys that likes me invited me to see it on his birthday, but I told him I didn't have money. I was sort of glad to have that excuse because I really don't want to spend any more time with him. He kinda creeps me out after he tried to kiss me that one time.

I thought the flashback scene was pretty narmy, but I admit, he was /pretty/ good.

I'm proud to say that when I saw it (After work on the 15th) I was the one who started the theater clapping when Mrs. Weasley did her thing. (You know what I mean)
