Of course. The shape you take depends on your personality, soul, etc. If you're good, it's reflected in the Dark World.

What Evilslayer and Whocares said.  And also I think the SNES's graphics, while still superior, couldn't show Link as a wolf like in TP.

And Link makes such a cute bunny!  If I ever get a pink rabbit, I'm naming it Link!

I would think that Link would be a lion or something brave, not a bunny....

Yeah, Link could've been a lion; maybe he could have faced some enemies that way.  But in some Dark World dungeons, a flashing thing can change Link back to a bunny for a little while, and then that would defeat the purpose of leaving Link defenseless while he's in his Dark World form.  Perhaps bunnies are brave; "Courage does not always roar like a lion.  Sometimes it is a quiet voice at the end of the day that says, 'I will try again tomorrow.'"--Peter Sheridan.

Yes, but that means it's a different Link. The LTTP Link was a bunny, the TP Link is a wolf.

Well, you can't expect to have every single Link have the SAME personality, can you? Unless it were an intentional cause by the Goddesses or other, it would be a pretty slim chance for that to be coincidental.
