Dragon Lord, you forget that Ganon cannot be slain by anyone but Link. And Silver Arrows are the only thing that can kill him.

As for King Kong, not only is Ganon a powerful sorcerer (which means that size doesn't matter), but he's actually about the same size in the old games, the Oracles and FSA.
