The only thing I like about the Water Temple is the music and the fight with Dark Link.

I didn't like the Floormasters in that room with the invisible maze.  Other than that, the Shadow Temple was awesome.

Personally, I think the six outer temples were built by the peoples who lived somewhere near their construction sites. It's kind of like worshipping their native element, if you will.
