Hi no Seijin

If your joking, you might want to say so know.  You're making it look like an attack on a member, which isn't allowed here.  And I'd say it's about time we get back on topic.

To me it looks more like the coastline of a bigger continent rather than an island itself. Personally i don't think Termina is a parallel world of Hyrule at all I mean what evidence is there? Some characters share similar names and personalities...big woop that is hardly enough reason to support the widespread belief that it has become.
Also as one of the articles on this very site explains  in WW Phantom Ganon's sword bears the markings of the smithies of Termina, to me this is more than enough evidence that it is a real place.

<EDIT: spelling error>>

Hi no Seijin

I think Nintendo stated that Termina was a parallel world themselves.

i wonder if link knows that?

Hi no Seijin

I think he learns it; he's not an idiot.  And I think that the Happy Mask Salesman knows of Hyrule and visits there sometimes.  We don't see him as an adult in OoT.  And I think Skull Kid can also travel between Hyrule and Termina; he is in Hyrule at the start of MM, but lives in Termina.

The MM manual says that Termina is a "kind of parallel world that is similar and yet different to the land of Hyrule."
Now NoA has been horrible with translation in the past, the fact that it says kind of parallel suggests it isn't parallel in the traditional sense, but it is in that they share certain qualities, it is not necesseraliy on a seperate dimensional plane.

Hi no Seijin

Still, multiple dimensions rock. :D

Only when they arn't too confusing, then they go all strange and irritating and you forget which version of each character is which. When they reach 25 seperate alternative universes I just blank out.  :-X

Hi no Seijin

Now that you mention parallel universes, I love them.  That theory helps explain why I can write all my fanfics. ;D :) :D

Of course, it would be confusing to think of Termina as a parallel universe that shares a border with the country of Hyrule.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.
