Ezlo has a temper, and that's why I think Vaati turned evil. Vaati got sick and tired of ezlo nagging at him so he finally cracked, and turned ezlo into a hat.'course I have to admit I like Vaati evil so I have to thank ezlo. Thanks Ezlo!

Um, in the game, it was said Vaati became entranced by the evil in the hearts of man, but that may be why Vaati became entranced by the evil in the hearts of man.

But you have to admit, Ezlo does have a temper, and he must of yelled at Vaati, like he did to Link.

Obviously, he's an authority figure; Vaati was an apprentice to Ezlo.  And no one likes authority figures.  Until they are said authority figure.
