...a lot of other magical stuff like Pokemon and Lord of the Rings, has been dubbed Satanic in nature

I'm not so sure about Lord of the Rings (satanic? FYI, those books were written by a Christian author), but the main reason people dub Pokemon as demonic is because of the Psychic-type Pokemon.
