A rhythmic series of stomps manifests it way from around the corner, though the tiny chirps of left, right give away the fact that this group is one part of the Deku King's highly trained army. Every single grassy entity is in perfect timing, giving the illusion of a giant moving through the area. As they march along, they have their swords draped over their right shoulders, shields deep in their left palms, and their faces are covered in anger. They were, of course, trying to find Sovelis. After his disrespect of their King, they were appalled and came to make amends. Eyes constantly straight forward, they even changed directions as one, silent and efficient, as if controlled by one mind. Passing bushes and stompnig down the defiant blades of grass, they would stop at nothing to find him.

kasei watched from afar as the deku marched. he would go warn sovelis, but now the king had this many fewer soilderes defending him.
the shiekah walks away, not letting the army know of his presence...

Sovelis was hiding in a tall sycamore tree as the army passed by. Hehehe... he thought. They think they can catch me, So be it... Sovelis leapes down from the 115ft tree and lands 100ft in front of the deku army. " You want me! Come and get me, FIRE!!!" Sovelis casts Fire upon the dry grass in front of him, causeing a huge grass fire...

The deku in the front spread apart in unison, allowing a garrison of Deku to move past and into the lead. All the other stay in their place, but these move forward. You can tell they have been well trained. Synchronized, the place their arms forward, and without even glancing to the side, simultaneously fire busts of water that hurl toward the growing fire. As these cut through the air, they stay together, not losing a drop. Upon impact, each explodes, further drenching the area and successfully dousing the flames. Instantly their arms drop, as they wait. The other troops quickly retake their former position, the mages falling to the middle again, they soon continue their march. As they approach Sovelis, the troops in the front pull out their weapons, and the Lieutenant steps forward.

"YOU! STOP NOW!"

His mouth is almost frothing as he yells at you, his eyes never in the same place, and his figure not moving.

Sovelis Looks at the lead Deku and Laughs his ass off. " YOU DON"T SCARE ME, YOU FOOLS!!! ELEMENTAL EXPLOSION!!!" Sovelis yells as he cast the spell at the closely grouped deku's...

The Lieutenant quickly spreads his arms wide to both sides, and instantly, a wave effect occurs as each row back begins diving to their respective side. As each dives and retakes their customary positions, they look up to see their leader assaulted by the explosion of Shadow. Knocked off his feet, he flips several times before landing face-first in the grass many feet away. All eyes are focused on their Lieutenant, but no one moves. Their training has taught them better than that. As he slowly begins to take his feet, all their attention turns quickly back toward Sovelis, and they seem to be awaiting orders. This is where his orders weren't clear, he wasn't sure if he was to kill this man, or if he was supposed to take a prisoner. It was better to be safe than sorry.

"ATTACK MEN, ALL TOGETHER. CHARGE!!!"

The legion of Deku finally breaks from it's mold as the ensuing chaos erupts. Mages blasting magic, that can be seen screaming around Sovelis, fighters charging forward, bringing weapons to the ready, everyone attacking. Except the Lieutenant, who's now checking himself for wounds, and preparing himself for whatever he deems necessary.

Sovelis's body explodes into a huge inferno! he has become a pile of ashes, or so it seems...

"Well that was easy enough."

Several of the fighters and mages say to each other as they lower their defenses and prepare to head back to the Thicket.

"NO! He is NOT dead!"

The Lieutenant charges forward and stabs a dagger deep into the ashes. That way, he was certain Sovelis would not return from such trickery.

"Be on your guard, I doubt he has given up so easily."

Some nomads perform Track, trying to see if they can discern where Sovelis went, mages replenish SPL with Magic Jars, and the groups spread apart, almost making a perimeter around the ashes, but with a profoundly more square shape.

the ashes exploded into a large creature of Darkfire. ( Dark/and fire elemental.) " HA!!!" It yells. " You acualy thought the real Sovelis would just walk up to you?" it yells. " I am mearly a doppleganger! My master gave me his full power. He almost died yesterday, so he sent me to kill you all..." It says as it hurls a ball of Darkfire at the Leutenent.

"He sent you to kill us? That makes me laugh for a long time."

And he does... he laughs for a very long time, just long enough, in fact, that he is almost abused by the beam of darkfire. He stops laughing, a glare on his face, and rolls out of the way. As the burst crashes into the ground, causing the grass to singe, a burst of darkness flies outward, elevating high into the sky. The Deku begin a quick chatter that soon turns into a roar, this ins complimented by the sound of hundreds of feet crashing into the ground repeatedly as the leafy ones make their way closer. The square tightens in around the Doppleganger, before the mages let loose blasts of all different elements at once, and the fighters being slashing toward with the weapons all at once.

OoC: he is made of Darkfire, normal wepons of deku wood won't hurt him they just might catch fire.
The swords pass through the Doppleganger without harming him. IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAn DO? it yells as it slahes out with a sword it made of a piece of itself.

OOC: Remember that you're not the GM of this thread, so don't assume things. The weapons COULD have been made of diamond for all you know. They weren't, but you should keep that in mind. Also, since you didn't specify that you dodged...

IC: The weapons may have been singed, but the magic was not. Bursts of every type soon smashed into every part of the Darkfire's body, the seemingly endless barrage crashing into it's side as the mages continue their blasts. The Darkfire's blade does manage to eliminate many of the Deku it contacts, but as quickly as they are killed, they are soon replaced with other soldiers taking their place. As the weapons are eliminated, the fighter Deku soon release a stream of Deku nuts toward the ground in front of the darkfire. This continues on in hope of continuously stunning the creature until the mages can kill it.

OOC: Who knew an army of Deku could control such power? I've got dibs on them from now on!

OoC: my army of skull kids should fight you deku army!
IC: the Darkfire was stunned, but his standing on the dry grass was starting a fire...

OOC: They would have no chance to survive, make their time!

IC: As the fire spread out to the first layer of Deku, several caught fire, burning up quickly. It was a terrible sight for those surrounding Deku, and the mages quickly doused the flames and drenched the water underfoot with Elemental Explosions of Water. The fighters continued their assault of Deku Nuts, hoping that this creature would stay stunned and that the Explosions would not only dous the flames, but deal massive damage to the enemy.

The normal water only evaporated on the Darkffire's body. He was begining to move, for the deku nuts where wet, and they probably won't work well when wet. as steam started to fill the air, the Darkfire curled up into a ball and started to gather energy for a final strike. A large piece of it broke off and became another Darkfire creature.
