A massive explosion shakes through all of North Castle, drawing everyone's gaze upwards. Fortunately this is no attack on the city or castle, but rather a huge launching of fireworks that lights up the surrounding area with beautiful colors that wash over all those present for the magnificent display. Cheers ring out through the streets as Hylian Knights, specially placed along balconies, each eagerly awaiting this moment, unfurl banners hanging over the walkways. Flowing over with bright colors and attractive designs, the announcements for the second annual Grand Celebration unleash a new wave of applause from the citizens of the town.
Hurrying every which way, the Hylian Knights swiftly carry booths and other expertly constructed platforms from their hiding places in alleys or supposedly abandoned buildings, setting up for the celebration. Out of the inside of castle stables wheel several wagons, revealing to those who had been curious about them the location that Din's Traveling Troupe had disappeared to. The Troupe passes around an enormous cake and drives out to where the Knights have just finished setting up the area.
Leaping out of their hiding places emerges the various members of Din's Troupe, each heading off in various directions towards the different booths that have been specially set up for each of them. The fortune teller from the Crossroads heads inside a darkened tent in front of an alleyway; Jinoa the witch takes up a spot by the wall, laying out her scrolls on a booth next to a strangely designed platform; the Zora bard heads off towards the central region of the Courtyard, strumming his guitar as he sits in a cushioned seat that serves as all he needs...well, a seat and several sets of benches surrounding him. Also joining the normal assortment is one other man wearing a ninja outfit, who heads over to a piece of construction with several two foot long poles hanging roughly ten feet in the air.
Din the Oracle and world renown dancer leads the way, dashing gracefully towards the narrow elevated platform which had been set up for her specifically. In front of it stands a much larger, and slightly closer to earth, octagonal platform for dancing in the evenings. "Well, this looks like it'll be just perfect!" she says cheerfully, an equally joyed hop and clap of her hands joining the words.
"Quite impressive that they were able to keep all these preparations a secret for so long, isn't it?" a voice says from behind Din.
Din's eyes gleam with joy as they turn towards the speaker of that question, and she leaps forward to wrap the woman in a hug the moment her eyes confirm what her ears have told her. "Nayru! Oh, you made it!"
"Well of course, redhead!" Nayru, Oracle of Ages and famed singer of the land of Labrynna, laughs along with her old friend as she returns the hug. Leaning back after they release one another, she gives a little smile to the Oracle of Seasons. "One doesn't exactly refuse a request from the King of Hyrule! Especially when an old friend sends her wishes for my coming along with the King's," she adds with a sly little grin appended to that last part. The legendary Harp of Ages rests between her arms and her azure robes, matching her blue hair in just the right way to make her into a stunning beauty. "Well, shall we then?"
"Wait, hold on just one more second," Din says excitedly as her eyes glimpse a touch of green running towards the two woman through the crowds already gathering around. "There she is!" she cries out as a woman whose favorite color is obviously that of the forest rushes forward. Her hair, dress, and eyes are all of a verdant tint, and her face all smiles as she speeds towards her old friends.
"Farore!" Nayru cries out in joyful surprise as the girl leaps into their arms, embracing them both simultaneously and nearly knocking all three of them to the ground. "When did you get here?"
The green haired girl unleashes a smile as bright as the day itself upon the other two, closing her eyes in an expression of utter delight. "I'm the Oracle of Secrets!" she says merrily. "I've got secret ways to get all over the place; you know that! I just waltzed on over to Hyrule a couple minutes ago."
Din and Nayru join her in giggling happily as their reunion continues, then Din pulls away with sparkling eyes. "You've still got some...instrumental...secrets up your sleeves, right?" Farore's eyes light up as well as she nods quickly. "Well then ladies, let's get this party started!" The three make a beeline over towards the stage, ready to begin the first and the biggest festival all three have attended together in a long time.
