Arrika watched with a kind of sick fascination as Sovelis regenerated his face. "That's so... weird. You really are immortal, aren't you?" She said, astonished. "And you kind of did start to scare me," she muttered as an afterthought. "Does it hurt to heal yourself?"

"Feels like the fires of hell are crawling through my veins..." Sovelis answered as he stood up. He blinked, and the red demon's eye reverted back to his own green with golden flecks. "I'm more demon than anything...Lucky for me, the base structure is still my own human pieces, so it goes back to being human tissue after it grows back..."

Sovelis walked over to Arrika, and held out his blood-covered automail hand. "Lets go home for now...I need...to rest."

"Sure, but you owe me another cloak," Arrika said, taking his hand anyway. His blood was still warm. She almost started to laugh, the way Sovelis talked revealing his age more than anything. But she kept a straight face when she remembered the pain she'd caused him and stayed silent the whole way back.

"I don't talk like an old man...Do I?" Sovelis asked, looking at Arrika as he took of his cloak and handed it to her. "Its going to rain before we get home. Put this on, unless my blood is a problem." I guess age is catching up to me. No matter how hard I try, it seems like the young people are somehow able to tell if your old fashioned i some way...

As they walked, the clouds finally began to pour out their rainy gift upon the land of Hyrule. Big, fat raindrops fell from the sky and fell loudly to the ground. Sovelis smiled and looked up at the storm. "I hope this lasts a while. I like this kind of weather."

"Hah. Me too. But you only talk like a senior every now and then. I guess most people of younger genertions would think you just have a little more class," Arrika said, putting on Sovelis's red cloak. It was a little too big for her, and nearly swept the now soggy ground, but it was definetely warm. "I have a friend of mine who's really good at playing the piano. He made up a song for me once, and it just made me think of rain like this..." The thief began to hum the light little tune. "I haven't seen him in ages, though. But he's probably off with some girl or other, or showing his 'skills' off to the public in a town square somewhere with an open hat for tips. We used to play 'hero' when we were little, but I hated it because he always made me be the princess."

"Your not the type to be a princess anyway." Sovelis said, letting the rain wash the blood off of him. "Your the type to go out and be yourself. But what that truly is, I do not know. Lets just say that...your not the only one you dislikes the 'Royal Treatment' that seems to be so wanted by everyone. I'm content with what I have for now, and I will seek out more if the need arises."

Arrika left. "I guess I'm not. Kobas used to say we became theives because it was the only way we could survive. One day if you got a lucky break you were supposed to quit and live a good rich life. Part of me wants to live in a huge house with servants and maids and someone to cook me food 6 times a day, but a bigger part of me wants to keep living the way I am, because I know if I tried to act like the daughter of some rich duke it wouldn't work at all. It's weird."

"Then its a good reason your my student. You can learn a new way to live. Thats why I'm here for you, to see if I can make a difference in someone's life." He answered back, following beside her."How did you figure out which house was mine though, that night you tried to rob me blind?" Sovelis said, grinning at Arrika, his normal personallity surfacing once again.

"Lucky guess," Arrika said. "My kind depends on luck too much anyway." She paused and then said thoughtfully, "Actually, the nothingness in your house was just a really odd anomaly you couldn't sense from any of the other buildings, so I decided to give it a try."[/i]

"You could sense the storage dimension? Odd...no one else has been able to. Guess it must be a sheikah thing...since your kind are aligned with the shadows...." Sovelis said, looking like he was pondering a hypothesis in his mind. If Arrika can sense the powers keeping us safe in my home, and the storage dimension, then who else can feel it?

Sovelis put his right arm around Arrika's shoulder. "So...do you think that your friend, Kobas will ever show up? I've been wanting to meet him ever since you told me about him. I want to talk to him about his adventures in the worlds he visited..."

"He will. I know he will. He'll come back and everything will be normal again," Arrika said, firmly convinced on this idea. "Like I've said, I have no idea where he went. It's possible he's gone to another world, and while he's been gone for a year in Hyrule time, there it might have only been a day. I know it's possible he might have died while he was away, but Seth says he's sure he'll feel it if he did die somehow."

Arrika then smiled, closed her eyes and said dreamily, "Kobas'll laugh when he sees me and Rhyss and Seth, and maybe Mirielle, and then we'll go out to some tavern and celebrate all night. He'll slap Rhyss for doubting him and kiss Mirielle, because he knows Rhyss will get jealous. Then the next day after he gets over his hangover he'll go out and kill all those people who are after him, and we can live the rest of our days in peace until he stirs up trouble again and we have to run away for a while. Maybe he's gone back to Amestris? Then Kobas can tell me all about Colonel Roy Mustang and whether he married Riza yet, and whether Ed and Al came back. Or maybe he went to one of those Earths! Then he can tell us whether the crime rates and corruption that Rhyss liked to scare us with is still true," she said enthusiastically, although in the depths of her heart she knew it was possible she wouldn't see him again, even though she would never admit it aloud.

Sovelis hugged her and laughed. "Sounds like Kobas is quiet the part animal. Well, when he gets back, we'll invite everyone to the house, crack open my last case of whiskey, and get so drunk, no one will remember who did what that night! How about it?" Sovelis said, smiling at Arrika as he hugged her. "And I might even show you my room when we get home. Its bigger than the library."

His cheerful attitudes was in full-swing as he led Arrika through the rain, back towards Rauru Town, and the house that Sovelis, Arrika, and Seth all shared.
