"That is just a change of scenery. It gets booring with just one backround, don't ya think?" Aria said as she passed by what looked like a door, but semed to have evil emmenating from it. "Whatever you do, don't go in there." She warned.

We need to hurry Aria. Someone could attack our bodies while we float around here in your mind. I need to open your senaptic pasageways so that All of the other Aria's that share the a shard of the spirit that you hold will join with you, even any dead ones from other worlds or timelines. That is the first step in becoming a Tempest, gathering all of your power into one body and soul. Sovelis said to Aria with a sense of urgency in his mind-voice. And why can't I speak in here?

"What you just said now made some sense. But there is a problem. One of those Aria's is behind that door, and it is nothing but darkness. You can't speak in here because this is my mind." Aria said, walking further away.

OOC: Sorry 'bout the delay and crappy post. I hate playing as Aria, as I haven't gotten her personality sorted out yet . . . on the other hand. Kasei has a set personality, and I know how he will respond to situations.

Everyone has a dark version of themself. That is one of the tests. To see if one is strong enough to overpower your inner darkness. If not, then your training cannot continue. Sovelis said, following after Aria. He floated along, his feet almost touching the grass of this internal world as he hoped Aria would at least TRY to defeat her darknened self.

Arrika wandered along as usual, but had stopped after seeing a bright blue light in the grassy fields beyond. She ran, wondering and hoping for a little action. And in the middle of a drawn circle, a familiar good-looking mage sat.

"Hey, Handsome! What are you...." Arrika stopped as she realized Sovelis was in some sort of trance with a younger girl she hadn't met before. "Rhyss? I mean, Sovelis, right? Huh?" Not wanting to touch him as she had heard of magic before from the original Rhyss (who had explained the ill effects you could cause someone when they were in a trance if you bothered them) she sat down on the grass next to him, wisely out of the transmutation circles, and decided to wait.

Aria turned around, a sad smile on her face. "You should beware the dark." She warned, then floated over to the door, and took out a key. "You should be prepared, Sovelis." She said, then unlocked the door, and flew back. The entryway was smashed to bits, and tendrils of darkness flew out into the room as a dark figure stepped out from behind the door. The being looked nothing like Aria, it was tall, muscular, and shrouded in blackness, its only visible features were its eyes, the red pupils stared forward endlessly, seeing things noone else had seen. The creature took a step forward, then another, until it was right at Sovelis.

Have you awakened me, human?

One of the creatures massive arms swung, and both Aria and Sovelis were sent flying by its sheer power, their bodies were now covered in the blood that was now the room floor.

Come, and face darkness, face eternity.

Stumbling to his feet, Sovelis looked at the Darkness that was suposedly the other Aria. Wow...um...This...different. Most of the time...The darkness is just an evil version of the person... He said as he stepped a few feet away from Aria. This is your battle. If you cannot defeat that, then I'll have to stop your battle before you loose. Alright?

Sovelis looked shocked for a second. Someone in the woods with us...someone's just outside the circles! We need to hurry, or else we might be in danger in here, and out there.

Aria got up, a scared look on her usually happy face. Her scythe appeared in hand, and the room was bathed in light as she attacked the entity mentally, slashing away at it, and shrinking it in size, all the while it became more humanoid. The shiekah girl soon was facing nothing more than a dark version of herself, her mind was flooded in light as she struck more at the creature, until it struck back. Using energy balls of darkness, the dark Aria was constantly blasting her holy counterpart. Eventually both girls were badly injured, their powers spent.

... That enough. Aria, if you cannot suppress your other self, then we'll have to call it a day. The strain of this test is more than I expected on your mental and physical bodies. Sovelis walked over to the girl, and knelt next to her. We'll have to train you more before you can try this test again...

He stood up and looked at the dark counterpart to his student. As for you... go back to wherever it is you came from. It seems that you can keep living for now... Train yourself so that it won't be easy for Aria to defeat you. This is a test after all, it must be harder than anything she has ever faced before. It took me twelve times to pass this myself, and most others do it several dozen times. There is no shame in failing this test.

Aria silently nodded, before collapsing. All around them, the mind-world was starting to crumble. The walls of the realm collapsing. It was time to leave.

The dark incarnation of Aria didn't respond. It mearly turned away as the world vanished.

Aria and Sovelis were back in the forest. Aria had collapsed. I guess it was time to train.
