Entering the village, you can see a group of Gerudos surrounding a youthful looking Gerudo. This woman is only part of the center of attention, as she is cradling an infant in her arms. Any other day, this would be of little concern to outsiders; however, you can overhear one of the older desert women say, "I hope Prince Baldric can live up to his great-great-great-grandfather."

Queen Adalia Rosefire, the woman in the center of the group, smiled and said, "As do I."

As this is said, you notice that some of the women aren't facing towards their queen, but rather to you. Though their stance is rather relaxed, you can see that they are tense, with a firm grip on their spears. You have no doubt that should you do something foolish, especially if it is directed at their new prince, those blades will be at your neck in an instant.

Keeping his distance from the women, Wyndisis fumed at the fact that the male Gerudo was still alive. Sooner or later, the now helpless little runt would have the power to prevent Wyndisis from controlling Hyrule, and perhaps even Nardora. A while ago, he had convinced Denning, a Cleric, that the infant was a threat, and that he must be destroyed before he grew up and became powerful. The Sheikah never carried out his plan though. The other Sheikah, the one he managed to break away from the Goddesses, Darilan, would get the job done. Darilan didn't know the extent of what Wyndisis wanted to do, but he would soon find out. Darilan already saw that the infant was a potential problem, but believed it to be so because he likely held the Triforce of Power.

As his black eyes stared at the mother and child, he smirked. He knew he wouldn't gain or lose anything by doing what he was about to do, but he was going to do it anyway. Part of the reason for the Zora being able to survive in the desert was his magical ability to provide himself with a constant, never ending supply of water. For a moment, he disengaged the spell that kept him alive. It was only a matter of seconds before his skin became dry and shriveled. He walked up to the guards and said in a dry, raspy voice, "As an Exile banished to this cruel desert, I am honored to be in the presence of this child who will soon become my king."

Two of the Gerudo guards instantly crossed their spears in front of Queen Adalia and Prince Baldric, while four others raised their spears and held them at Wyndisis's throat. The Gerudo queen held her baby tightly to her chest and stared suspiciously at the wrinkled Zora. She said in a stern and regal tone, "We are neutral in the affairs of Hyrule, as we have been ever since Ganondorf Dragmire was defeated by the Hero of Time. My son will grow up to lead the Gerudo race, and the Gerudo Race only.

"If it's the leader of the Exiles you search for, Grug Lugford is hidden somewhere in this desert, and hopefully as far away from us as he can be. Now be gone with if you mean us nothing but harm."

"I can assure you that I did not come here to harm any of you," Wyndisis said. His skin was drying up so badly it was starting to get painful. Lines formed around the outside corners of his eyes, and they transformed his expressionless face into one that appeared to be full of sorrow. "I apologize for my mistake. It's just that I don't care much for Grug Lugford and thought that..." he trailed off. "Oh, I suppose I am stuck in the past," he said as he looked at the older woman who hoped the prince would grow up to be like his great-great-great-grandfather. "Who am I to expect him to follow in the footsteps of Ganondorf Dragmire, someone who lived five generations ago? Or was it six?"

"Several more than that," Queen Adalia told the Zora. "Five generations ago my great-great-grandfather was born, and neither him nor my great-great-grandmother is descended from the Dragmire line. We do not even know what happened to them after Ganondorf."
