The Properties of Tempest Space
Author: Lord Synoth Hargin, High Tempest Lord, first to claim this tittle and founder of the Tempest Stronghold, Discoverer of Temest Space

I have found a place that exist in the void that seperates most known universes. This new place is unlike any I have seen before. It radiates a strange energy that has given me a great and terible power. This place is the strongehold where it is kept. The one guard, a shadow with burning yellow eyes, Told me that as a drifter, one who has no place in any universe, I was to now guard this power. The shadow faded away, leaving me alone. I aproched the alter, and beheld the power that drove me close to the brink of insanity. I was told, by this power, that I was to become a guardian of the multi-verse. That I was to begin training others in its ancient way of power, that for until the end of all things, we would be called "Tempests" for we would be like storms to the forces of evil everywhere. And so I found many others like me, and trained them in the power's ways. Then each of us trained more, and more Tempests. Then on of he first that I led to this place, Marivis, Rebeled against the power. He and many others hand sold there souls to the power oposit to tho one I had found. They left and We never saw them there agian. They caused much striff and suffering everywhere. We were forced to use our power to undo there evil, and to do batle with them. This cycle will continue, until the end of time. The Str-----

title:"Demonica Infernis" by Lord Sontig of the 3rd epoch of the Tempest
type:Tome of Tempest origin. entire book can't be read by mortal humans, or any whom are not knowledgeable in Tempest-style Seals.
Age: unknown
Number of copies: this and a translation in the posesion of Sovelis

.....And i have found a way to control the darkness that has oposed me for so long. I used my power to bend the darkness to my will, twisting it. It consumed me. It drove me mad. I destroyed my home, I didn't know what price i had paid for the power I had gained. It took controle of me and made me slaughter my people with my own hands. the black demon. the dark one, Sovel. He used me, and I was powerless to stop him. I sealed him on my homeworld. I used most of my life force to seal him into the dead, solid core of the planet. I used my emblem as the key to the seal. An eye within a triangle, with three small black dots an inch from each point. I know not if this knowledge will be read by another. None must know of this. none outside the Tempests ranks may know this dark secret. If ever Sovel is free agian. Someone must seal him WITHIN their own body. If this brave soul dies with the demon within them, Sovel will prerish with them. If this should fail and he isn't re-sealed, we are all doomed to a fate FAR worse than Death itself.....

You try to turn the pages, but they won't allow you. Only a Tempest can read on.

The History of Hyrule
page 1

It began with the eight Nations of the contenint - Hyrule, Death, Midoro, Parapa, Island, Maze, Ocean, Desert, and Great.

Hyrule, the southern-most, was ruled by a reknowned and loved King. This was also where the almighty Hero lived, Link, with his Uncle, ubntil Agahnim fated Link's Uncle to his Doom. When Link saved the land, his uncle recovered. It's borders were from it's southern Coasts, to the Mountain of Death.

During this time, however, the seven other nations of the continant, were at war with each other. Parapa send ships to Maze's mountains, while Midoro attacked Great. Ocean attacked Maze, while Parapa backed off, only to be attacked by Great. Meanwhile, Parapa is attacked by Midoro. And Island attacked Midoro while it was at Parapa. Thus the Age of Chaos began. The purpose of this is simple - for power.

It was not until Island attacked Hyrule when, after the fight, that the new heir of Hyrule's throne, said to his servants and soldiers, "This must end! We cannot allow this to go on! This will continue no longer! We must unite the world of Hylian, before hatred destroys us all."

So he sent an alliance to Death. It's King was the Most unexpected person... Ganon, prince of Darkness, son of the King of Darkness, who had only attacked Hyrule a while ago. He did not agree, and was crushed. Not, all that remained of the Castle were twin Islands. All of the beautiful shores, peacful ponds, and amazing waterfalls, were now a mockery of what they were.

But fortunately, many of the people of Hyrule escaped to the East, and made their escape to the North, into the territory of Island...

The Hero had gone over seas, during this time, so he could not help them... for being an adventurer, he wanted to see the lands to the East. It was not until the trouble ended that they learned...

But along the road, the heir of Hyrule, Princess Zelda, was captured by Ganon. They could not go back... the line of Hyrule had failed... hope for the future... was lost.

\But, hope was needed atb this time more than anything. The King's mission must complete. He sent a bird with the letter to Island, saying to alliance. Their response was no, and they attacked the Old Hyrule. But this was where Ganon was, so all who made for the attack lived no longer... And Hyrule took it's chance, and conquered the unarmed and unprepared Island Palace. Their tactic was wise... they dug a tunnel deep into the ground, and attacked Island from the side of it's mountain, instead of it's from, from the sea. This tactic succeeded, and the King said to them, "I want every one of you, to unite with our kingdom, or you will join the dead."
Many agreed. Those who didn't were murdered. But a good 100 joined from the Castle, and word went out to the villages across the plain, that the only path was to follow the King of Hyrule. Island was now called Hyrule. But the honourable King said to Island's King, "I will not force you into becoming a peasant nonetheless. Your kingdom shall stand tall for many years to come!"

And, glad to tears, Island agreed. Now, both Hyrule and Island lived at Island palace. Months past. But the war did not end. Parapa, Midoro, Great, Maze, Death were still at war with each other.

Midoro would be next. They knew it's waterway - it's waters went through Moruge Lake. Shallow, and long were the lakes of Moruge and Midoro. The obvious first thing to do was alliance with Midoro. They declined. Island Hand Hyrule, beside one another, fought off Midoro. They shot out it's inside from the tops of it's mountains. A white flag was risen. They forfitted before many died. Exactly what King Hyrule wanted. He told him exactly what He told Island. HJe agreed. Hyrule was liking how this was going.

Now, Parapa was planned to be next. But Parapa had reseaved word, and Hyrule was forced to retreat. They needed to make other plans. Even their alliance from before, with a 10000 rupee offer did not impress Parapa. He said, "Money buys not power." They needed to try elsewhere...

Fortune Tellers
A Follproff way to ferret out a fake fourtune teller.
Apply these rules to any fortune-teller's name and you will know if she isd for real.

1. Fake fortune-tellers always create a fake name to disguise their real identity by adding two letters to their real name.
2. Real fortune-tellers always give their real name.
3. Fake fortune-tellers' real names always have more than 3 letters in them.
4. Real fortune-tellers have 3 times as many letters as the real names of fake fortune-tellers.

(The above is from pg 117 in The Legend of Zelda, the Crystal Trap, by Matt Wayne. Same rules apply )

Toasty has written a bunch of poems about people, organs(Yes, like vital organs), animals, and buildings, in third person, of course. And now, Toasty will share them with you. Two of each subject.

People 1: I am Jack. With out me, you would have no way to sell your useless junk.
People 2: I am Jill. With out me, the morality of all the Hylian knights would be zero.

Organs 1: I am Jack's pancreas. I get cancer, I kill Jack.
Organs 2: I am Jill's madubla oblongota. Without me, Jill would never experience negative emotions.

Animals 1: I am Titan. I am the elephant everyone knows and loves over at Racoon City Zoo. With out me, the Zoo would be nothing.
Animals 2: I am Stalker. I am the only male lion over at Racoon City Zoo. With out me, the female lions would go crazy.

Buildings 1: I am Hyrule Castle. With out me, your rulers have nothing to live by.
Buildings 2: I am the Happy Mask Shop. With out me, the world would be a better place.

OOC: Yes, I relize how bizzare this is. But I'm just trying to have fun. Plus, it's a bonus to Toasty's personality.

Title: NEXUS
Author: Ganteus Summerhand, Arb Mu
Summery: The Geography, Races, and Tails of Nexus

Nexus. It means "a form of connection; a connected group; the center of something", is a noun, has the synonyms of bond, link, and tie, and originated in the Latin language. Most just take it as a word, but not a place, which it is. Have you ever seen the sky and wished that there was something past it? There is. Have you ever seen the moon and wished that you could see its dark side, and what laid there? Its there. It is a realm of wisdom, strength, courage, prosperity, wealth, and freedom. It is a realm of foolishness, weakness, cowardice, loss, poverty, and walls. It exists, but doesn't.

The Geography of Nexus is a rather simple one, compared to realms such as the Silver Lands, Youth’s Empire, and the fabled Hyrule. There is the inner ring, where the town markets thrive, which is surrounded by a wall, which houses doors to the outer ring, but more on that later. Above Nexus, lay the Twin Towers, the Crystilline Spyre, and the Chained Tower. Both towers are bases for the Elimentalis, well, the evil ones, anyway. The Spyre is their base of operations, while the Tower is their prison. The outer ring is the more populated one, considering the fact that it holds at least one of all types of environs, and anyone can live within one. Outside this wall, however, lies the Beyond. If a thing stays in the Beyond for more than any 7 units of time (i.e.: Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, eons, decades, centuries, eras, etc) they shall become an Empty, and will forever walk alone.

There are three races in Nexus: the Elimentalis, the Anistrinj, and the Shifters. The Elimentalis are beings who control the elements themselves. In their youth, they control the elements freely, but at a certain time, they must perform a ritual. One road makes them become their element, losing their physical forms, and becoming an Elemental. The other road ties their element to a tool (i.e.: book, sword, gun, staff, etc), which they control telekinetically. The Anistrinj are those that are part animal. They are humanoid with animalistic qualities, and that includes insects, fish, birds, and reptiles. They are common, as are the Elimentalis. The final race is the Shifters, who are as rare as good cheese fries. They can shift, allowing them not only travel, but the ability to change things. They can shift to any place, be it dimension, world, galaxy, universe, solar system, or more. They can also create small things out of thin air, but for larger things, they would need a sacrifice. They had thought of living sacrifice, but switched over to using rocks as the fodder.

The book stops there, as the tails pages are stuck together.

The Dark Sheikahs of Old

It in the era of the Ocarina of Time’s creation and the first downfall of Volvagia when the Sheikans diminished. It began when their people populated enough for them to become themselves rather than being commanded by the Royal Family as their alliance was sworn… enough for them to become greedy, hateful, and evil. At the beginning of the Sheikan revolution, they played the roles of simple but greedy thieves, stealing things of great value from the rich or poor, and selling it to become wealthy. One of these was named Bongo Bongo. He had everything against the King, being in part that those of Kakariko his village were not getting enough wealth from their work. He mocked the king publicly, and many other Sheikahs followed suit.

But the true leader of their people, a young man known as Kasuto himself, became known to be the one who made the alliance with the King of Hyrule and to serve him in the first place, was not impressed with his people, or at least those many of them that followed and agreed with the evil of Bongo Bongo. They were told to be exiled from the land. But they would not obey, and made war with Hyrule - a battle within its own country, which did not happen again until the Imprisoning War.

The battle went on - enough people went to war on either side for there to be a very long war. It was not just one attack, though, for the ones who were now known as the Dark Sheikahs were driven from Kakariko Village, and were forced to take refuge in the Mountains, in the lowlands, not interfering with the Gorons, and there was no location for them to go. However, the Hylian Army knew naught of this, and did not know where to attack. And Dark Sheikahs went on and attacked various times in small parts of Kakariko, fighting in only small bands, killing stealthily, depending totally on the shadows. They also went over the walls of Hyrule Castle at night, and burned houses, and killed those in the streets. None lived in the country without fear. Kasuto made counsel with the King of Hyrule, telling him that they must kill all of the Dark Sheikahs as soon as possible, and if one knows a Dark Sheikah, they must be spoken of to a soldier, and if he protects the Sheikahs will be hung in dungeons of the castle. The King agreed, and made the law the very next day.

However, people took advantage of this, and spoke of their enemy Sheikahs, even if they were not Dark Sheikahs, and they would be hung. This created a blast of racism between Sheikahs and Hylians alike, and they hesitated to even make contact with one another. In fact, one man even attempted to kill Kasuto himself!

But the King spoke to his people, saying, ‘My people! What sort of whim began this! This cannot happen, my friends, for not all Sheikahs are evil, and not all Hylians mean for them to be! This must be done by uniting, my friends! If this happens not, then we shall diminish! I command that we make peace with one another, and there must be proof of their evils!’

A spy of Bongo Bongo witnessed this, and made dark plans; he would make all murders seem to be on another’s fault. This again made despair between Sheikah and Hylian, and even Kasuto and the King had uneasiness of one another. Finally, the King spoke again; ‘My people! I know not what else can be done, for ever do the forces of the Dark Sheikahs make the evils appear. We must not lose hope in our future, and pray to the goddesses that this changes!’

And so they prayed desperately, many did all through the night and the following day, and a few even longer. And so it was than Din had no choice but to answer. She damned them, making them fall to their knees, and making them never arise until they answer to the death that they have caused, which, of course, would likely never happen. She drove them away, into the depths of the mountain, where lava was close and the Kingdom of Oblivion, which they, however, would never forget for the remainder of their lives.

And Bongo Bongo became their king, a King of Other World. He remained in his place, never to be disturbed or spoken to until their damn was over. Many brave but foolish living folk dared to walk into those lands, and never return, and eventually die of fear, or of pain, for not very deep into the Other World across a damned ferry there is a torture room, where they are chewed upon until their souls are taken from them.

As for the life of the living, there was still a slight hate for Sheikahs. And so, any Sheikahs of Common Folk were to be exiled from the land, and not to return, though the King hesitated with this command. But alas, any who still remain to serve the king under pain of death would be gifted a very, very long life. One of these was a young Sheikah named Impa, and she served the Hyrulean Royal Family for many thousands of years.

A new scroll was found on a shelf. It was only part of an ancient manuscript that was still under translation in Ruto town by Alexander and many other scholars. If one were to take it off of the shelf they would realize that it was common language, so anybody could read it. A note was scrawled on the back in Alexander's handwriting,

We are currently translating the mother scroll of this story. Feel free to read this particular scroll, but realize that the next part of the story won't be available right away.
Ruto Town's Chief Scholar and Librarian,

The Canani Chronicles Part 1

We, the descendants of the Canani Empire, tell our bloody history full of greed, lust, and deceit in this scroll. A long time ago, before all of this land

OOC:
( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Hyrulemap.jpg ,all of that area, plus the continent that Termina is part of, in my opinion)

belonged to your kings, it belonged to our Emperor, Canani. He was a great emperor, and was nice to all of his subjects. His castle is now flooded, for it sat on a island north of Tantari when water covered the island. Our emperor was dead before the flooding, of course. For, one of his kings that he left in charge of the southern most extent of our land(LoZ Hyrule) turned traitorous. His name was S Ma, but once he began to become rebellious, he took on the name Zeso.

He built a monument to his greatness, and he called it the Great Colossus. He soon got help from some of Canani's other trusted workers. Such as Lord Montegomey the sixth, who ruled the land of Montegomey, for his forefathers had named the land by there family name. Kiafas, one of Canani's loyal body guards aided the cause as well, but he was tempted by the Emperor's daughter, and because he had, even though she was willing, talked to her, touched her(no, not in a grouse way, I mean like put his arm around her shoulder), and even slept with her, he was put to death. Lord Rencal, who ruled over the country of Rencal, joined Zeso too. A man from Ikana(back then Ikana was all of Termina) took on the named the Damned One, and he made an army to was meant to overthrow King Igos du Ikana, for Igos was the only king who was still loyal to Canani. However, the War of Ikana killed off Igos before the Damned One had a chance. Last but not least, the king who ruled the eastern area of our land(eastern Hyrule from AoL), joined Zeso as well. Canani already had a bounty on his head, because one of Canani's fortune tellers foresaw that not only would he forsake Canani, but that two of the most dangerous men ever would descend from his line.

The armies gathered in Zeso's domain, and soon, the plan was ready. The war broke out. Zeso had learned ancient magic that only the Emperor and his high mages should have known, thus, he posed a great threat. But he was arrogant, and didn't teach any of his followers his magic, which was most likely, his downfall. He conquered the castle with ease, and decided to make that the center of operations. He now had many nicknames, "The Usurper Heir" , "The Veil Darkness" , "And the Final Demon". He forced our people to live in slavery. Only his followers got to live happy, carefree lives. Until one day, the only son and the only daughter of Canani's son broke into the palace. They stole the five sacred items that Canani had made before he had died. However, he had not yet enchanted him. So they got a mage to give them unique powers, and with the five items, the son killed many of Zeso's followers, and transformed Zeso, who couldn't be killed, into a statue. The remainder of Zeso's followers fled out of the continent. The kingdom was restored to peace. Or at least, for then.....

Ooc: I know I am double posting.
ic: A promising vanilla folder was sitting at a small oak table. It lay closed, ready to be opened. There was a chair one could sit at and comfortably read it. Odds were was that somebody had recently read it and not bothered to put it back. Should one care to open it, they would find this...

PROJECT CYANSTORM

Dear Reader, You're about to read as much information that I can offer about one of the Royal Family's dirtiest secrets. Read at your own risk.

About thirty years ago was the first dated action of CyanStorm. CyanStorm is believed to be a Royal Family sponsered organization. The facts are still fairly blury. They had operatives from and in every major country, and they are in charge of over half of the political assasinations in at least the last thirty years. They were probably orginally formed as a black opps of sorts. Supposedly there first known job was to assassinate the prime minister of Montagomey so Lord Montagomey the Sixth could resume power. Roughly ten years ago, Noah Grendel, the supposed head of the organization was found poisoned to death, after a failed assassination attempt at the King of Hyrule. It was believed CyanStorm was behind the attempt, and the organization was promptly disbanded. However, recently traces have been popping up that Cyanstorm never stopped. The whole thing is now so hush-hush, even the smallest of facts are hard to seperate from fiction. To make it worse, I suspect that either Royal Family members afraid of the secret getting out or old Cyanstorm opperatives are destroying the evidence. Every bit of information I have gathered is in a library vault I have bought. If you wish to read it, inform the librarian to tell me, and they'll tell me. Then, I'll contact you.

Tadvick.

Title: The Big Book of Many Manners
Author: Aiden
Summary: As Aiden learns about the world and what is and is not accepted she jots down notes in her own little book. Some things are crossed(underlined) out, such as spitting your hand to greet a person. The more she learns the more accurate the book will be.

Chapter One: Greetings

In Hyrule you run into all sorts of people and naturally you can't just walk up and say "Hello there," right? Didn't think so. Actually in some cases this is perfectly acceptable, depending on how close you are to the person in question. Here are the listes of acceptable and unacceptable greetings:

Acceptable:
Slapping people
Shaking hands*
Saying "hello," "greetings," or similar

Unacceptable:
Saying "Hello"

*Shaking hands can be tricky, you have to have your hand in just the right position and clasp their thumb. Now, it's key that you don't squeeze their thumb too hard and there's actually a shaking motion involved, but as of yet I haven't got that completely understood. Further notes to come.

Chapter Two: Finding Your Way

Now, when you're in a new place one can easily get lost. Getting lost can be nice, you meet new people, see new things, learn about the environment, but it can also be very bad. When lost you run the risk of, not eating, not sleeping, not drinking, not being found, having your clothes stolen when you're bathing, and all sorts of just bad things. I have a few ideas of how to not get lost, I will attempt them in order, notes to follow.

1) Leaving Crumbs (some kids were talking about it)
2) Thread
3) Climbing Trees?
4) Breaking Twigs

Chapter Three: Making Camp

If one does get late it's always good to make a camp. Now, first tip, if you got lost and had to make a camp, do not lose the camp. I speak from personal expierience readers, I lost two camps in one night before. There are several locations for a good camp;

Up A Tree - you're safe from most ground dwelling things and if the tree is dense enough you won't be spotted. (Note: If you roll in your sleep this could be a bad location.. or if you're scared of heights.. or if you forget where you are when you wake up in the morning..)

In a Cave - it's dry and no wind can reach you, but it can still be cold {See next section on making a fire} (Note: Check for any inhabitants before sleeping.)

In the Open - A nice starry view! A fire however is a must in this situation.

A key part of making camp is making your bed. If it's been raining a cave is your best bet, because wet leaves make a bad bed. Dry leaves, however, make a great bed, although they crackle and crunch every time you move. Blankets are of course your best bet anyday, but they can be a pain to carry around, especially if you're lost and been wandering around for hours. Never use rocks or sticks for bedding, although if there is one big rock that's been out in the sun.. it might work..

Chapter Four: Making A fire

Anon wanders through the library in a daze. He had never seen so many books. "Im getting a headache looking at all these books." Anon remebers something his grandfather once told him. "Come on read, you'll have fun." How can I have fun with these? They don't do anything!" Anon replied. Suddenly, a book falls off the shelf and on his head. "Oww! Stupid Karma." Anon picks up the book and looks at the cover.

Name: The History of the Sheikah
Author: Unknown

Five thousand years before the Hylians pulled together to form a nation out of scattered farming villages and nomadic tribes, the Sheikahs had their own civilization started and going strong. Judging from the Shadow Temple, their culture was heavily influenced by violence, torture, and sacrifice, presumably human sacrifice. During this time, their emblem was just a stylized eye, and it would have been the most horrible thing to come home to, as it was a guarantee that whoever was in the house had been kidnapped for sacrifice (after all, the Sheikahs aren’t going to sacrifice themselves). Of course, reigns of terror can’t last forever, and around a thousand years after the Hylians banded together as a nation, the Sheikah began thinking that they needed to end the butchery. However, things are rarely that simple and easy; civil war broke out among the Sheikah, with the victors being those who attached themselves to the Hyrulean Royal Family as protectors. Those who wished to cling to the old ways were forced into hiding in a dark realm known as the Underworld (alternatively, one could say that they were the Dark Interlopers from whom the Twili are descended). Ever since then, the teardrop has been added to the Sheikah Eye to symbolize their remorse, and the Shadow Temple locked and made inaccessible. The Sheikah began to die out when they took heavy casualties in the Hyrulean Civil War, or perhaps in Ganondorf’s undoubtedly brutal takeover of Hyrule.
