On the corner, a small boy is running around with news papers. He spots you and hands you a copy of the Hylian Times. The front page is a picture showcasing the crying mother of a guard who'd recently passed. The column goes on to say,

The guards do their best to protect each and every person. But are the guards the ones needing protection now? Recent reports from the knights of Hyrule say "yes".</center>

"We're doing all we can to prevent the loss of more guards. As a result, you all may begin to notice us tightening security around North Castle. If they can poison the guards, they can poison the king."

<center>Who is trying to weaken the guards, and why? Should we be preparing for an attack from foreign invaders? Or is Ganon simply displaying that he still has the power to kill whomever he chooses?

"It's important not to panic", says Paul Merlin, a priest in the Temple Quarter. "Whatever is happening- the divine will protect us. They've done it time and time again. So long as our faith is unwavering, we have the Goddesses' blessing." The owner of Lon-Lon Ranch also ensures us that the milk produced from their cows is always inspected and taste tested before each delivery to ensure the safety and quality of their product.
