Dogura appeared before Ganon, his knee already bent to the monster. "You summoned me, Lord Ganon."

The beast looked down on the samurai from his throne. Dogura dare not look at Ganon's expression. He certainly wasn't too happy with the samurai's disobedience. Dogura stared at the red rug that led to the throne. He awaited the beating that he'd earned. Bracing for pain, he instead heard the voice of Ganon ring throughout the hall,

"I sent you to reap the soul of Ferri Oxidiron."

Dogura remained still.

"Why did you fail me?"

The time came to respond. Dogura had been thinking carefully about his words long enough to respond with haste. "You sent me to take the soul of a child. Certainly you've realized that I've figured out the purpose of that mission..."

"Sharp as a tack, as per usual. Yes, I sent you to provoke the Order into attacking you. Instead, you make friends? I DEMAND AN ANSWER FOR YOUR DISOBEDIENCE! DO YOU STILL RETAIN YOUR HUMAN MORALS? DID I NOT BEAT THEM OUT OF YOU?"

The last part of the beast's sentence was still echoing by the time Dogura responded.

"Your approach to overtaking the Order is too direct."

Ganon's expression turned to astonishment. The beast appeared to be surprised at the samurai's remark.

"Sharp as a tack, you said." Dogura quickly added, not giving the beast the time to respond with his malevolence.

"It would be wise for you to listen to me, if only for a moment." He remained still, his eyes still trained on the ground, still bracing for pain. Ganon turned to look at one of his advisers, who stood next to his throne. They were clad in armor from head to toe, demonic designs engraved in the dark matter that comprised their protection. The adviser he'd turned to nodded back to the beast. "It certainly couldn't hurt, your wretchedness. Shadowclaw has shown nothing short of sheer brilliance on the battlefield. I'd wager my sword arm that he's got a decent plan." Ganon turned his head back to the reaper, and leaned his head on his knuckles.

"Very well, Shadowclaw. I'll listen, and you may rise. But this had better be good."

Dogura stood up, and looked Ganon in the eyes. "I suggest that instead of instigate the Order, I show them a good side of me... Allow them to believe that there's a good side of me..."

Ganon's face remained unchanged.

"They know very well that I'm your key to success... I've no doubt that they'll jump on the opportunity to claim me for their own... To convince me to change sides."

Ganon suddenly lifted his head, his eyes telling that he'd caught on.

"I gain their trust..."

"...And destroy them from within."

Ganon finished Dogura's sentence. The beast smiled now.

"Devious... Dastardly... Vile... Downright deceitful. You should have run that by me before you set your plan into motion..."

"I cannot be open with you if you cannot be open with me." Dogura stated boldly.

Ganon snarled.
"Stay your tongue... I'll tell you what is necessary. You will tell me everything. Understood?"

"Yes, Lord Ganon."

"Begone."

The samurai left as quickly as he casually could. A smirk befell his face just before he left the throne room.

Hook, line, and sinker.
