Since the REF was disbanded little has been heard about Red Fury. A Hylian whose violent temper caused him to exile himself from his village, after he almost killed his trainer in a fit of rage.

Living on the streets he became all he could at the time, a Thief. He realised that the Soldiers didn't care about the people's problems. So with a new focus in mind he made it his job to help those that the Soldiers would not.

Hyrule has changed since then, with Hyrule being spilt into factions. Red found himself out of place in a town full of Grunts and Hylian Knights. With so many troops around he found it hard to do his 'honest days work'. So he decided to join others who were similarly minded in their hunt for wealth and joined Blind's Gang.

Living in a town full of Thieves, Vagabonds and Mercenaries changed Red. No sooner had joined the gang, when he was attacked by a Mercenary; trying to collect the bounty of his head. After dodging the attempts by the Mercenary to give his head an air hole. He cut the spear down to size and ran off into the depths of the town.

From that moment on he knew that would be have to make his appearances as brief as possible, to avoid being seen someone that wanted his head as trophy, and that first person to help would be himself. He discovered that there was no honour among thieves.

Sitting on a rooftop, Red observed the activity below. A certain series of events caught his eye; as a young Sheikah ran through the streets being chased by two men. The scene was reminiscent of his early days and he felt compelled to help.

Dropping down into a nearby alley he waited while the sounds of yelling and carts being overturned got closer, the moment he saw the Sheikah he grabbed hold of him and pulled him into the alley and held him against the wall until the men ran past and their footfalls could be heard drifting down the street.

'Friends of yours?' Red remarked as he loosened his grip.

Raven knocked away his arm. 'Who are you? And what do you think your doing grabbing me?' Raven exclaimed.

'I think I was saving you from a beating, at the least.' Red explained 'As for who I am.' He said and dramatically pulled back his hood. 'I'm Red Fury, but you can call me Red.'

'You say that like I'm meant to know who you are. I never heard of you.' Raven says, 'Now get out of my way.'

'Very well, but I though you would want to be trained by a former member of the REF.' Red said as Raven started to walk away.

'You were in the REF?' Raven said in a disbelieving tone.

'When Hyrule was under attack they needed all the help they could get, beggars can't be choosers.' Red reached inside of his cloak and pulled out a scroll. 'Here.' he said and threw it to Raven.

Raven read the scroll he had just been thrown, looking up at Red between sentences.

This document is proof of Red Fury as a member of the REF. He has orders by the King to fight Ganon's forces wherever they shall be and your full cooperation with this and others members is expected. The royal seal is on the bottom of the document.

Raven then rolled the scroll back up and returned it to Red.

'Why are you telling me this? What do you want from me?' Raven questioned

'You remind me, of me, when I was first started steal. Although your way was more complicated than my methods. I want you to come with me and I will train you into the best Thief that Hyrule has ever seen.' Red explained.

'You mean I could be like Blind?' Raven said, excitement in his voice.

'Better.' Red simply said.

'When does training begin?' Raven asked.

'It's already begun.' Red said cryptically and threw him a rupee pouch 'Come on. kid.' walked deeper into the alley.

Looking at the pouch Raven immediately recognised it as his. 'Hey!' Raven yelled and followed after him.

'So, kid what should I call you...' Red is heard saying before they disappear into the depths of the alley.
