With a shocked expression on his face, Victor is thrown into the corridor by the Goron guard, and as he was helped up the Bard rubbed a few more sore spots on his head. Smiling at the Goron's cheery disposition, he soon forgot the action and remembered how he had hoped that Zayxin would have no hard feelings. Brushing himself off, Victor spoke:

"I suppose I ought to get used to that, huh? Good morning, Zayxin. Say... what time is it, anyways?"

Zayxin tries to smile back, but has trouble doing so. It is apparent that their is a lack of reasons to smile in this Goron's life. He lightly punches Victor on the shoulder (or at least, it would have felt light had he not been so large) and answers the question.

I haven't been outside for awhile, but Mizer, er, that is to say... someone you haven't met yet, just went out to guard the entrance nought but a few minutes ago. That means it's just past noon. Enough talk of time, though. You're supposed to be meeting with Darizan in the lobby in an hour, so try to wash up before then. And for Din's sake, try keep that compassion of yours from bringing you down.

The massive Goron lancer turns from the bard and marches down the stairs.

Victor flinched as Zayxin punched him 'lightly' in the arm, and started rubbing the spot where he had hit his mark. As the Goron spoke, the Bard began to wonder just what time he got to sleep last night, but decided not to bother asking. As Zayxin finished his explanation, Victor nodded absent mindedly, but when the Goron turned and began to leave he called out:

"Hey! Where exactly do I go to wash up?"

Zayxin doesn't turn around to answer, but just continues walking. Before he is lost from sight, he answers abrubtly and is lost from sight.

There should be a full shower system in your room there, bard. It's not hard to miss, just pull the sliding wall to open it up. Oh, and it wouldn't kill ya to show up early, too.

There is a possibility that Zayxin is laughing, but any sound he makes at this point will be inaudible to Victor.

Raising an eyebrow, Victor whispered "Shower?" to himself. Turning around, he returned to his dorm and looked around for the sliding wall that the Goron mentioned...

In plain sight their is a section of the far wall that has an odd handle attached to it. By grasping this handle and sliding the section over, Victor can access a "secret" area of his dormitory.

Behind the wall is a "shower," a water-based device used for washing onseself. A strange attachment to the wall of the shower and a knob on the wall are the only real objects besides a drain on the floor that are noticeable. A threshold blocks any excess water from leaking into the dormitory.

When turned, the knob releases water that is sprayed out of the attachment on the wall. The position of the knob defines the temperature of the water. It seems to be a remarkable kind of device, and has never been seen outside of this cavern.

OOC: Imagine if we had to explain what a shower is to a group of baboons. Then we'd appreciate having narrated all this out This part... doesn't need a lot of detail, so maybe just do a "Victor showers and leaves the dorm" kind of thing.

OOC: Ah, but we should have at least some detail, no?

IC: Victor stood there staring at the strange device for a while, scratching his head. How they developed such a thing was beyond him, and the Bard wondered why there wasn't just a tub that he could use. Nevertheless, the shower was his only choice, and so Victor undressed and stepped inside. He turned the knob just a little too far to one side, however, and this side just happened to be the hot side, so Victor suffered a few agonizingly scorching moments in the spray of water, trying to get out of its path in but only succeeding in performing what might have passed off as a strange dance. When he finished, the Bard toweled off and dressed once more, then exited his dorm.

In the hall outside, Victor started down the stair, but decided that he wanted to meet at least a few more people before joining Darizan in the lobby, and so he surveyed the hallway quickly for any other dorms...

OOC: Wait... but why would baboons need showers? Oh well, I assume there's other dorms on this floor, so if there is just say that Victor knocked on the door. If there isn't, well... looks like I'll have to go down a few floors, won't I? Ooh, also, I hope you don't mind that I kinda assumed that there were towels... Gotta dry off somehow, right?

The other two rooms on the floor are, unfortunately, vacant. On the fifteenth floor, Thespin's door is locked. He must have left for his "field assignment" some time ago. There are still two other rooms on this floor. A note on one door reads:

Gone training,
Be back by evening.

The last door brings a surprise. Standing in front of it is a man whose hood is still shrouding his face. He leans on his door, as if waiting for someone.

Slightly dissapointed at the sight of the note, Victor turned to see the man standing in the hall. Deciding that he still had time to make conversation, the Bard walked up and gave friendly wave.

"Hello! I'm Victor, you may have heard of me. I seem to be the new guy around here. Say... who are you waiting for?"

Acting quite unfriendly, the hooded man doesn't answer Victor's question. After a few seconds of silence, he grows tired of Victor's company and points to the stairwell.

Shouldn't you be on your way to the lobby by now?

His voice has a rude snap to it. This man does not seem too fond of the prospect of having Victor in this organization. Whether this grievance will affect Victor is not yet clear, but it would be best for the bard to avoid him for now. Perhaps Darizan will know a thing or two about this individual.

Frowning, Victor hung his head and turned away from the man. He continued down the stairs a flight to the 13th floor, but decided not to check it; the Bard believed that 13 was an unlucky number. Down another flight of stairs, and Victor was at the 12th floor. He thought it would be best only to knock on one of the doors so as to make it to his meeting with Darizan on time, so he approached the first door and knocked...

The door opens slowly, and small girl opens the door. She is close to half of Victor's height. An uneducated person would assume that she is only a child, but her green hair seems to spell out a clue to her race. While appearing to be no more than thirteen years old, she could be as old as the Great Deku Tree himself.

The Kokiri girl seems overjoyed to be visited by the bard, unlike the last man that Victor had approached. Her innocent green eyes shine brightly as she speaks.

The bard! Victor, right? What's going on?

Victor was used to having to look down at people, being somewhat tall, but he was more surprised to look down upon green hair. Startled slightly, he jumped back and saw that the girl was indeed a Kokiri. The Bard smiled and wondered just how far this organization reached in the land of Hyrule. Extending his hand, he spoke to the girl:

"Yes, I'm Victor. Uhh... well, I'm just going around, trying to meet all the people I can. Tell me, what's your name?"

The Kokiri girl shakes his hand gleefully, giggling while she does so in a typical childlike manner. The black gloves she is wearing cover her hands from sight, a standard component of her "uniform." Smiling, she replies.

I'm called Eyra. Nice to meet you, Victor! It's nice to hear that you're trying your best to fit in with everyone else here. Good going!

She grabs a small blade from inside her room - a rarity among the usually peaceful Kokori - and tucks it into a sheath by her side. Grinning, she explains.

I'm going to the Shop District today to explore. Can't go without protection, right? Hey, Darizan's probably waiting for you, Victor. It was nice to meet you, but you'd better hurry to the lobby!

She closes the door, locks it, and runs to the stairs, descending to the first level to go about her "adventure."

Nodding, Victor waved good bye to the girl as she ran off. It was then that the Bard remembered that there were other parts to this complex other than the Inn and the castle, and began to hope that he, too, could visit the Shop District soon. But he would have to meet with Darizan first, and so Victor moved towards the stairway and descended them to the lobby to join the group's second-in-command...
