Grenada's eyes dart around the room quickly as he searches for any trap or anything that could harm them should they not pay attention(Awareness Check).

greneda's awareness check is succesfull, he notices nothing, save a suspicious dagger that lay next to the moblin, it was a bright green, tied to it was a string that went into the floor. the beasts hand was not far away. apparently, when it died, it tried to trigger some trap in the room...

You notice on the walls are pictures that represent various powers opperating within hyrule, the royal family, the hylian knights, the exiles, the servants of armaggedon, an unknown organizasion, gannons army, and the mercinary guild. each painting has an image of its current leader.
you see nothing else out of the ordinary, when you hear a whisteling sound.

James is still curled up at the spot where he last stoped slideing saying aloud "I hate slides, I realy hate slides.

Cathy looks at the boy who spoke with her dull eyes. Her brother said that her eyes were too intelegent.
"Kasei is following us from below."Cathy said suddenly.

Guys, don't make a problem of it, its just a trap.. like the many we have seen so far, we must go on

suddenly, the walls shifted, and opened up, letting a hoard of monsters into the room. one pulled on the dagger, and flew out of the walls, aimed at the travelers, dodging the monsters. some were on fire, others were frozen...
ash grunts forgoth! erith donbge gotr! yelled the nearest moblin...

Cathy stared alittle, shrugged, and walked forward. She kept silent.

OoC-You're kidding me aren't you kasie.

IC-James looks upand see a hord of enemies and gets up and pulls out his deku staff

Cathy pulled out her cantine and turned the water to ice and and hit the monsters, while dodging their attacks.

before any attack could be made, the door in the back of the room opens, revealing a man in a cloak.
he touches the ground, and a hole opens in the middle of the room, and all of the beasts fall in.
heheheh, they will serve as the ritual sacrifice! screams the man. he casts lava, filling the hole with the molten rock, instantly killing the beasts that didn't die from the fall. you hear there tormented screams as their bodie's all burn and melt. heh, now, for the final sacrifice...

the man jumps into the lava, wich was now a green hue, turning it blue, like some giant potion. you hear the mans last cry;
rise, gigagaia, first demon of apocolypse! the whole temple shakes, and everything becomes shrouded in shadows. your very heart feels the darkness clutching to it. suddenly, something rises from the lava...

The beast, newly made, attacks!

Mini-boss gigagaia;
Str: 9 Def: 9 Agi: 1 Int: 5 Spi: 10 HP: 100
skills: reform: can regenerate limbs every 3 turns.
thorn fist: strikes all players for half their HP, however, if the player has 10 HP or less, thay gain halfe their orriginal HP.
mind crush: every five turns, gigagaia can lower a players spi to 1


Meanwhile, outside the temple, the kokiri gather, waiting for sunset, each has brough some kind of weapon...

Pulling a blade out of his sheath quickly, Grenada square's up to the huge creature. Inspecting it's large form, he begins scanning it for any visual sign on weakness, trying to find an easier method of slaying the beast than simply draining it's life.

In short, Grenada uses an insight check.

OOC: Kasei, are we doing combat in order of speed, or is it just attack whenever you get a chance?

OOC: whenever, and your insight check fails. I do everything behind the scenes, just attack wherever you think he is vulnerable. but be warned, well, you can figure it out. try making use of his needle arm ability to regenerate yourselves..

IC: the beast spots greneda, and withought speaking, strikes at him. the arm is slow, however, and it misses by a mile as the deku evades its attack.
he doesn't seem happy, and changes his target to james, who isn't so fortunate, getting a 5 taken from his HP by gigagaia's fist.
The demon howls in triumph, expecting its first enemy to die easily, it will be sorely dissapointed.

After easily dodging the first strike from the massive thing in front of him, Grenada looks over just in time to see James get hit. Pushing his sword into his right hand, Grenada smiles. It was time to just wail all over the enemy. Making his way to the right hand of the enemy, Grenada jumps and slams the blade down toward the middle knuckle.

... the blade hits home, causing 4 damage to the beast! it howls in pain, and retracts it hand, hitting greneda with its otherm causing 1 HP damage.
gigagaia then moves away from the battlers, and performs reform, barely regenerating its lost HP. with full HP statur, gigaia attacks again, but triggers a trap instead. arrows fly at the demon from many directions, causing 8 damage.
it once again screams, its right hand paralized by all of the arrows...

Cathy jumped back, her eyes turned back to her normal blue color. She pulls back her ice and then shooks it to the beast. Then turned into water to protect herself since she is still at a low level.
