Chisalu stumbled across the ground with all the grace of an injured (and hungry) arabian horse. Her feet trailed left and right in front of her, and she kept her eyes fixed on the ground, hand tightly grasping a small doll. On one hand, she looked like a lost child, clinging to a precious possession. On the other and more accurate (therefore the right, ha, bad pun) hand, Chisa was a girl on a mission.

She approached the boy, ignoring his father as only a fellow youth truly can and fixed him with her eyes. She handed it wordlessly to the boy, and with an unassuming, silent look turned about and gave the father a very different look.

The look that said, I deserve a reward for that.

Then she began to head back into the dust from whence she came. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust indeed. Pausing merely to smile back at the boy.

Keychain pushed her red hair behind her ears and held out the doll to the young boy. "Is this the doll that you dropped?" she questioned sweetly. "I found it for you, so cheer up a bit and give me a big smile."

Zero walked to the crying kid and got on his knee and patted his head. "Is this yours, young one?" He then pulled out a doll resembling link.

A Rito Caravaneer, bearing the markings of a New Peaktop Cartel employee, stands at the foot of the New Peaktop Skydocks. As you walk up to him, you can clearly hear him reassure his young son with promises of new toys if he would only stop crying. The Rito sighs aloud at the sight of your sympathetic countenance. "My poor son has lost his favorite doll, of the Hero, and without it refuses to leave my side. With his constant presence, I cannot do my deliveries for the Cartel, and my job is suffering.

"If you would be so kind... my son dropped his doll off the tower, so it may be somewhere on the Flats below. If you could find it and bring it back to me, I'd see to it that you get a membership to the Cartel. Any help would be apprecia--don't cry Coli, it will be okay!"
"wow, kid. get urself a new one. how many link dolls do you think there are out there! here, take it, and give me membership..."

ragnarok snarled a smile. now, one more membership that was just TOO easy to get...

Between swollen eyes that clenched between his hardened cheeks and furrowed brow did Murray release a smile, an awkward, inconvenient grin that escaped him from the bowels of his maw and held within it a deep and visceral swallow of air that prayed between the seconds of an hour glass that he did not cough the collection of phlegm that has accumulated from his bruised travels between here and where that dilapidated sack of tethered and sewn cotton lay in its slumber.

Through clenched teeth that gnawed at his dry and belligerent tongue did he respond with a ceremonious grin:

"Here you go."

And to steal from these moments between the gleeful sounds of the child which were muted by the thoughts of agony did Murray look bitterly, a facade of kindness hidden beneath the wrinkles of his face. Waiting, patiently, angrily, for the rhythmical leaps of joy to precipitate any reason to leave the calloused atmosphere that stole his breath and comfort. Perhaps a breath of fresh air that might slip through the sieve of natures fingertips, releasing his tongue and his breath and the lungs that bore into his spine with every second that passed by with silence and void of approval.

Finnagin, wandering through New Peaktop, happens to notice a crying child. She has always been rather fond of children, and she decides to try and help it out. She recently discovered a doll, of which she had no use for. She approaches the child, smiles, and hands it the doll. "Here you are sweet child. No need to cry."

Eberron saw the little child and smiled at his parent. Eberron had never been one for toys when he was younger... but he'd spent a long time making figures out of the rocks, so he understood how painful it was to lose something precious in that sense when young.

"I'll look for your childs toy, sir."

Eberron shifted his hat nervously as he continued.

"Though I don't know this land very well.... I'll be back as soon as I can. Don't cry little friend."

Eberron waved as he walked off, his bag swaying in the wind.

LATER...

Eberron returned surprisingly swiftly, bellowing happily as he ran towards the rito father and son.

"Hello! Sir, sir! I found your toy sir!"

Finally reaching them, Eberron almost collapsed from the exhaustion of running so far so fast. His arms resting on his knees he breathed deeply.

"Whoo... Gorons... aren't... meant... to run that... fast..."

Standing up straight again, still slightly out of breath Eberron smiled and handed the toy to the child.

"Here you go little friend. It's a an even smaller green man! Very interesting looking... I'm glad I could help."
