The bulky goron approaches the merchant, causing slight tremors with each step. "Oh, brother, have you had so much bad luck, goro? I have a gift for you, goro!" The figure reaches into a deep crevice upon his back and manages to fish out some deku wood. "Brother, please take this wood. Goro!"
The goron then sits down in the nearby shade. He rolls into a boulder, and softly goes to sleep.

Sakiko felt relieved. She knew that the bundle of wood that she had been carrying earlier would come to some use, and she was right. The mage, lifting the wood over to the Goron, said,

"Here you go."

Zeze, who had been trailing behind the mage, clapped her hands in delight. She yelled,

"Yeah!! Sakiko!! Way ta go!"

Zapheta turned to the Goron and smiled,

T"oday's your lucky day, eh, friend?"

With the sun glowing just below the horizon, two more figures walk up to the distraught goron, each with a armful of deku wood. The glowing orange of the setting sun flowing down into the square made the wood look as if it were on fire as they lay it at the creature's feet.

Here you are mister. I hope these work.
Yes good luck with your caravan my good goron.

As he was approached by the Goron, Touken flinched a bit, his dog-like ears twitching in surprise. Being new to the land of Hyrule, this was the first of these creatures that he had seen, and they seemed a bit intimidating. As he was asked about the Deku Wood, the young youkai quickly remembered that he had some, fishing it out of the pocket of his kimono. He had picked it up out in the forest, and now he finally had a use for it. Getting over his fear of the Goron, Touken held out the piece of wood, smiling in a friendly manner.

"Yes, I do have some Deku Wood here. You may have it if you like," he said, waiting for the Goron to take it. He had determined that these Gorons definitely weren't as much of a threat as they appeared to be, letting out a sigh of relief at this realization. However, Touken still has a lot more to learn about this world...

Seeing a large goron in need, mangekyu_jin walked over to him. "I think you have to much in your cart, mabye thats why your axel keeps breaking. If you had some Iron or Steel axels, that wouldn't be a problem. But since there aren't, here's some wood to replace your axel with." he said as he handed over a bundle od Deku wood.

Mangekyu is awed by his acceptace into the goro-goro cartel. his heart stirs for his goron brother in this, his time of need. "Thank you brother."he says with an apathetic smile for the goron and his troubles. "Do you know of any other citisens in need?" he smiles sadly at his goro brother and the bunddle of toothpicks that was the stick.

Drelx, seeing the wood around him, smiles and gets some wood out from his pack.

"I see your in need of deku wood? I came into some on my way out of the woods, I suppose I can part with it."

Drelx hands the goron his pile of wood. A paper on the wood reads "Birith's Wood", Drelx takes it off before giving up the wood, but the words have already been seen.
