"Factions? Well, I don't know." He gives a little bit of an evil smile. "I am sure Wyndisis wouldn't mind someone playing both sides. If they betrayed him though, he would kill them.
"C'mon, we will take you to him. He has business over in Parapa. We might be able to catch him before he goes through the cave."

Pende: Fine, I will join. I shall go see if I can get to him before he gets to the cave. Heh, I might just come in useful right away. A gerudo is guarding the gate, but she can speak common. It just so happens that I can speak her langage, so I'll be more than happy to interpret.

Grenada watches Pende and the two men leave peacefully to the side, before heading off down the road more, in the direction of Rauru town. Mumbling, trying to figure out what they're doing, he groans. Dark Acolytes, Pende, Lord Wyndisis, and that story... It didn't add up. Lord Wyndisis must lead the Dark Acolytes, and those two were minions, but where does Pende fit? He searched through his mind... Acolytes... followers... Dark must mean evil... But evil followers, Pende didn't fit. He must have been tricked by this Lord. He'd have to remember to talk to Pende about it, something just seemed out of place... Pende... Finally he had reached Rauru, and had disappeared into the defense of the city.

Arthur and Ford, the latter quite tipsy (how can you tell with him), are coming back from the North Castle bars (don't ask) when they notice Queitar and Karn in the shrubbery.
"Gentlefolk," Ford says by way of greeting. "Run for the hills! The yellow dragons of Vogara are coming! Or not, if you're anything like Arthur here."
"Shut up, Ford! I believe I can mix up Aunt Enid's recipe for hangovers with the herbs and suchlike left behind. I hope they aren't too dry. Oh, by the way, you chaps can stay there if you like."
