It was night, or nearing it anyway, which meant the drawbridge to the castle would be going up any minute now, which in turn meant Kasei had to hurry. Leaving the north forest behind, Kasei was racing with all his speed, witch was a lot. The castle walls soon came into view, as did the gatehouse soon after. Something was wrong, there was a group of people near the small building. Among them, Kasei recognized most, Orpheous and Worru he had already known, and he had seen Dogura, Rose and Saber participate in the tournament. But who were the other two? Even with his Sheikah eyes, Kasei had a hard time seeing them, but soon recognized them as other participants in the tourney; Pyre and Blank. Slowing down a bit, Kasei eventually was walking towards the rather large assembly, and prepared himself should they fight. As he got closer, Kasei was able to call out to them. "Hey, uh, What are ya doing here so late in the day? if your planning on going into the castle, you'd better do it quick, I think the gates close soon." He said, addressing the group as a whole. He was prepared for any answer he got, but before they could even reply, Kasei was on his way past the gatehouse, and on the bridge, just so he could get inside the castle should it pull up.

OOC: sorry I had to point that out, but its basically the truth...
I have permission to be here from Saber, so don't talk smack about me!

As the approaching dusk comes ever closer, a lone figure stands on the walls surrounding the city, gazing out over North Lake at the ever growing party of adventurers gathering out there. They were intending to check out some murder scene from a month past, and this causes the onlooker to chuckle at the very thought of it. A truly good assassin or killer could murder someone and make it so that any trace of their existence was gone in seconds. To think that a month would have gone by and there still be some sort of clues was borderline absurd - and only borderline because the killer could have been incredibly inexperienced and just plain pathetic. Though, judging by the way Sabertache seems to think of these killers, that possibility should be closed off as well.

All this he had learned while creeping through the bushes earlier, overhearing the conversations Saber, Dogura, and Rose had been having with their enlarging audience. Certainly, for some time he had contemplated exposing himself from his hiding place and joining them. Among those gathered were some adventurers whom he held in the highest regard, and now he spots Blank joining the group as well. Not to mention Rose, Pyralin, and Darkin are also among the participants in this investigation. But there are also several faces he's never seen before, and that is one reason why he holds back.

What's more, the degree of seriousness that Saber is taking this strikes him as a bit odd . . . and therefore a detail of great importance that needs to be taken into account. If this murder scene is so important, why did he wait for a month to check it out? Does he know something about the killers that he is not informing the others about . . . or at least, didn't inform them while the onlooker was eavesdropping?

Whatever the case, Alpha thinks that perhaps they'll be needing a wild card in their deck, one they can draw on even without them knowing it. An unknown to both sides, able to emerge when he's ready and aid them without either they or their enemies being aware of his existence. The Sheikah glances back towards North Castle. 'Here's hoping I'm not getting myself in over my head . . . again . . .'

Saber glanced over at Kasei; the Shiekah was standing in the middle of the bridge. Then it hit him--nightfall was almost here, and like it or not, they couldn't wait for any more inconveniences to drop in. He looked over at Blank and repeated the very short explanation he had given Worru. "Now then, across the bridge...everybody, let's go now.." He walked slowly across and brushed by Kasei, his eyes boring into the ground just before his feet, deep in thought. There's no chance of any evidence being left. Why am I trying this now? Then another voice came from nowhere--a deeper, scolding voice. I hoped to teach you better than that, Saber! Any good gang would watch the area of a murder for a while to make sure nobody picked up a trail--even though there would be a low risk of them leaving a trail in the first place.

Saber sniffed. The voise was his father's, and he knew it. That same voice has always been within him from the minute he had taken the saber on that dark day. It has always guided him, coaxed him, emboldened him....It was his only connection to his past, this sword....He qiped a solitary tear from his eye and looked up again boldly, making sure to preoccupy himself with the task at hand, to prevent crying again. No time for tears. He reminded himself as he reached the other side and the drawbridge began to go up behind him. No time....

On top of the walls, behind a battlement, and out of sight of everyone(including Alpha), a lean man with red, short-trimmed hair sat, his body warm in a brown, red trimmed robe. He had out a garrote and a dagger--both were laying on the ground before him. He picked up the dagger and began to wipe the blood off of it--fresh, warm blood. The garrote had been cleaned already, and lay on the ground, the last rays of sun reflecting off of ithe insignia in the middle of the blade. A curved ellipsoid with three lines in one end--a rabbit's foot.

OOC: Okay, so, now this is closed to newcomers, except for two people who I have set things up with since they will be on vacation. Look for the new topic in the Courtyard soon. You may RP crossing the bridge and your character's internal thoughts if you wish, but don't bother calling anything to Saber--he won't hear you.

Kasei simply opened his mouth as Saber walked past him apparently dep in though. how rude, he could have at least answered! Kasei thought to himself, then turned, as the drawbridge was rising, and followed after sabre, having a feeling of adventure. I wonder whats on his mind? Oh, the times I had sosei with me! Kasei thought again, truly wishing his freind were here.

(((OOC: Orpheus...I doubt that anyone in Zelda would wear,
Black jeans
as you put it. Now, Im not trying to lecture you, but come, lets be a bit more, well, reasonable?

Gah, I finally post and two more people posted in the meantime, so I had to change everything xD)))

The sky was now a shade of dark azure, the skyline only a bright crimson now, slowly being consumed by darkness. She loved this time, when daylight was taken over by the gentle and soothing layer of night that she could thrive best in. It was the only thing that gave her comfort when all else had failed. It had nursed her back to health when she had needed, and calmed her broiling mood when she had been in an uproar, similar to the one in the deku forest with the fire. Shaking such dark thoughts out of her mind, Melody complied and hovering over the others she followed, "Very well." as she flew her voice rang out to Saber's direction, "I am Melody. A Cleric and fairy." she slowed down to match his pace as he moved on to cross the bridge.

"I have been looking for a bit of excitement." looking over at Pyralin she flashed him a brilliant, yet devilish smile, then looked back over at Saber, "And I found a growing crowd here, so of course I gathered too." looking around at the rest she chuckled, "Hope you don't mind if I join in on the fun. I couldn't bare to miss this." Looking at him closely for the first time she genuinly smiled, a rare sight to see and murmured, "And you? Who might you be? You seem quite...popular." she giggled a fairy's laugh, skimming over the growing crowd. "Yes, yes, yes. Quite the popular guy, I must say." she knew his thoughts were else where as she spoke, but didn't mind, everybody and thing seemed to be a bit lossed lately, this was nothing out of the ordinary. Or is it? she pondered.
