Luna was concentrating on Kin (who had apparently noticed her hiding spot) when something next to her suddenly spoke, scaring the daylights out of her and almost sending her tumbling out of the tree.
"Who-?" She quickly turned toward the source of the sound, and upon seeing the shiekah drew her dagger. "What are you doing? Don't you see I'm-......." She paused a moment before sliding out of the tree and landing gracefully on the path.
Taking a deep breath, Luna dusted herself off and sheathed her dagger. Just to toy with Kin she held up her hands like a cornered criminal and said with an expression of shame, "Ya caught me." Done with the acting, Luna sneered and placed her hands on her hips. "So what's with the little gathering? Blind date? Or just a couple of passing strangers in the night?"

OOC: Luna ignores the name question.

"My name is Kin." Kin said to drake. Kin jumped back up in the tree and layed on the branch.

OOC: Im sorry it is short!!

Kasei was possitively annoyed. On the one day he actually showed up at the lottery, he got the worst job; Night Patrol. In his mind, this was the farthest from a good job, because it meant that he would be patroling the streets at night, and therefore would be missing out on any sleep.

On the good side, he would be able to at least be able to carry a bottle of Hylian Ale with him on patrol, a bottle which, by now, was almost empty. Nuts, he thought, and I haven't any Rubese to get more.

In his slight gruntyness, he mannaged to spot something that made this job worthwile; a group of people on the street, way after curfew.

He approached the group, and recognized Luna, Seth, and an unfortunate: Kuro. "Hello," He said, interrupting the little conversation with a jeery smile and a lantern, "May I ask what we are doing out so late when you should be getting to bed?" The Shiekahn, though techically a General for Hyrule and an upholder of the peace, was not, supprisingly, attacking Kuro. For reasons, unknown.

"hehe nice to meet you Kin." said said sneakily

"Whats wrong you seem......nervous" Drake said to seth still smilng still seemingly ignoring the blood dripping from him, as more blood dripped from his mouth you could see the hate and inhumanity in his eyes...

Seth swore under his breath; maybe it would be worth it after all to unlock the barriers he had placed on his mind to keep it from wandering. But could he handle going insane for even one more night?

"If the minds I touch don't drive me insane, these people will," he mumbled, noting how large the group had grown. At least it was Kasei, who he knew well enough, and not a real Guard on night patrol. Kasei's question still hung in the air, but Seth did not feel too nervous. After all, he, odd as it may sound, hadn't been doing anything illegal or would otherwise arouse much suspicion. All he had done was strike up a conversation with that guy who kept on crying.

The light from Kasei's lantern reached Seth, illuminating his face and casting dark shadows that made him seem older than the young teenager he was. He observed Kasei's face; was he drunk? His breath and the near empty bottle were even further evidence.

"I'm just waiting for Kobas, Kasei," Seth said, trying to sound like a regular, innocent kid instead of the tormented, back-stabbing psychic he was. "He left me here but he hasn't come back..." The thief's eyes wandered to the bottle again, trying to figure out some way to use that to his advantage to prevent Kasei from fulfilling his duties, which could possibly include throwing Seth in jail. Seth had made the mistake of stealing in town too often so that he had started to become recognizable, and the last time he had encountered someone on patrol he had barely escaped.

"You may already be insane" Drake mubled back to seth...he turned to Kasei "Excuse me sir but do I appear suspicious?"

OOC: Um, Kuro isn't in this topic. I'm just using (yet another) NPC. But I haven't thought of a name for him yet. Now that I said that, someone's gonna ask.

IC: The mage was unsurprised that the girl was startled. He might do the same thing too if he was hiding on a tree at night completely unaware of his surroundings. Although, he was a tad bit surprised that the thief wasn't being very observant of other things.

He jumped out of the tree and landed gracefully on his feet. He ignored the question regarding his name. Technically, he was on the run from the Hylian Knights and couldn't trust many. He especially didn't want to say his name know because a member of the Hylian Knights had just arrived. Isn't this great? the mage thought to himself. Normal guards are easy to get away from, or, if necessary, kill. Unfortunately, this on wasn't a normal guard. He was more. Much more from what could be sensed.

He decided that he had to get all attention off of himself. He looked at the bloody man who had asked if he looked suspicious. "Ya know, I don't think someone with blood all over them wouldn't be suspicious," he commented. it was very likely that this wouldn't work. He couldn't run away from Kasei. That would be way too suspicious. Attacking would probably end up with his own death. What could he do?

"Hehe your right" Drake said still smiling Drake being part demon could sense what was going on around him. "Theres seems to be quite a bit a tension here.....anyone got something they want to share?"

"Hey Kasei," Luna called, glad to finally see a familiar face. "Nice to see you. I was... um.. just out enjoying the view. You know, the stars and all. It helps me get to sleep." Luna could tell Kasei was drunk, or at least headed that way. A lame yet plausible excuse ought to pass for now.

"I agree with the other guy. The vampire," she motioned to Drake, "looks like he just got done slaughtering someone."

"Something rather than someone.......and Im a demon not a pathetic vampire.." Drake said "Names Drake

OoC:If Drake acts rude or anything like that try not to take it personally hes part demon and gets the best of him sometimes...hes really rather kind and noble normally.

The mage definitely didn't want to tell anything. Especially with Kasei here. He was a bit nervous through all of this, but was mostly able to keep that from being visible. He was almost sure that Kasei, being a knight, knew about what had happened in the past. word of mass murder gets around. Especially mass murder of an entire company of Hylian knights. His main excuse was usually the same. It's not my fault! It wasn't his fault. At least, thats what he had convinced himself to believe.

The mage was almost sure that Kasei would do something. He couldn't do anything about it. He decided he might as well strike up a conversation about it. It would be interesting for the others, and he wanted to know if he could convince this particular knight of the same thing he told everyone else. "So," he said to Kasei. "How's the knighting business? Any murders lately?" As he asked this, his straight face became a somewhat evil grin.

OOC: Can't wait for that lecture Kasei. That ought to be good.

Kasei, in the middle of listening to all of their excuses, could not help but notice that each of them seemed to think he was drunk. After all, Luna seemed to think that her excuse even qualified as a proper one. And Seth was simply being wierd. Kasei smiled as they all finished with their individual, pathetic excuses.

"You know, kids, i'm not any average NPC guard, and even if I was, those babbles that just came out of your mouths would hardly convince me of your innocence." He said with a slight smile, and moved a bit closer to the group, where the light from the lantern showed very clearly that he did in fact have a sword. "It seems that you think that one little bottle of ale will finish someone like me off. You have obviously never been to a tavern around here, eh? I have drinking contests there a lot, noones beaten me yet." He said, waving the little bottle.

He looked around the group. One of them looked like they were covered in blood, but Kasei payed no mind. He scanned the group, the entire party looked like they were up to something. Kasei decided that the best thing to do, short of killing them all, was to give them one of his lectures.

"You know, kids," he started, "We are in the middle of a war. Are you aware of what the criminals of Hyrule are thinking right now?" He asked, but didn't wait for an answer. "They think that with the army occupied, that they can get away with stuff. For example, Luna!" He said, advancing on her. "Do you know how many rape reports we recieved in the last week? Fifty-seven, and all were at night. That's not the worst, though, there's also killers and pick-pocketers on the loose, as well as spies. The night on Hyrule Castle town is not a safe place. Why, just earlier, I had apprehended a bufoon who was trying to rob quartermaster Hithos."

"No matter what your excuse is, we have a curfew right now for a reason; the protection of citisens like you all. Now," he pulled out his sword, "are you ready for the punishment?"

Drake had hardly payed attention as he hated to be lectured but had most clearly heard the last part. He moved the sword from his shoulder and let the very tip of the blade touch the ground. "This outa be good" hes said smiling

The mage breathed a sigh of relief. This particular knight didn't seem to know about the incident that had occurred in the past. That was pure luck in his opinion. Although, the guard did seem to pay no mind of the bloody demon not too far away. Maybe he just ignored people that really are dangerous.

He listened to the lecture with boredom. Actually, he didn't listen to it all. He had a tendency to not care and tune out things that he had no interest in. He did in fact hear about curfew laws were for protection and that the guard looked like he was going to kill them. He let out a chuckle.

"I don't think using a sword on us will protect us very well," the mage said. "Maybe you should think twice about attacking us. We outnumber you for one thing. And, we can have you arrested on charges of abuse or murder if one of us dies. Shouldn't we go to court and have a trial before we're punished? I think the Hylian Knights are above mindless slaughter of people who just happen to be awake at night."

"Or we can have a great slaughter on our hands" he said his grip on the hilt tightening "The choice is yours" he said
