Kasei finished his approach slowly, only nodding to acknowledge that Saber had said anything. His eyes were fixed on Darilan. He considered many things; what the man was doing here, his skills, and of course, how fast he could run away. Finally Kasei began slowly drawing out the scimitar he had at his waist, until it rested at his side pointing down. "What a lovely day to see someone like you, Darlian." He stated simply. "I have some questions for you, and I'd appreciate it if you came with me to answer them."

He instantly berated himself mentally; suddenly threatening out of nowhere was not a viable solution. Still, he was not going to make another mistake like Sovelis. He was not going to let this one escape.

Darilan.

Darilan.

Upon hearing Nogare speak his name, Darilan shuddered. He had grown to despise it. It was such a sissy name, really. When he was younger, other kids made fun of it. There was a time when he put up with that kind of crap.

The name didn't suit him. His father told him that his mother insisted on calling him that because he was "such a darling thing." What a joke. She only saw him for a minute before she died, and that wasn't enough time to know him for who he really was, or what he would become.

Wyndisis once told him that Wyndisis wasn't the name given to him at birth, but the name he chose for himself after he embraced darkness. Supposedly the name meant "erased with the wind" in some obscure language, but Darilan doubted that. Wyndisis probably made up the name and its meaning himself because he liked the sound of it.

Darilan thought it would be appropriate to follow the tradition that Wyndisis started and give himself a new name, one based on what marked the beginning of his new life and his descent into the darkness from which he could never return. He was...

Forsaken.

"I am Darilan Somstren no longer," he said, both to himself and to those around him. "My name is Relinquos. That is who I truly am."

He thought about Nogare's offer to go indoors, and grew suspicious. He grew even more suspicious when another person came up and asked - no, demanded - him to come with him and answer questions. Relinquos made a counteroffer. "Yes, listening ears might get a little too close where we are, but forgive me for sounding paranoid, I don't know who you two are," he said, then turned to make eye contact with Nogare "or if you are really sincere. I would be much more comfortable meeting in an open field where our voices won't carry to anyone who shouldn't hear what we have to say." That way, they wouldn't be able to attack him or drag him to Wyndisis - or castle authorities.

OOC: LOL I am totally copying the Sith by doing what I just did.

Kasei smiled a bit. So Darilan/Relinquos/whatever the hell his name is doesn't feel like chatting. "I don't think you quite understand me here, kid." He said, as the blade of his sword abruptly burst into flame. He pointed his now flaming weapon at Darilan.

"It was no request, you are under arrest boy, the least of your worries is prying ears and castle guards. Resist and I'll gladly incinerate you." The Rebel Flame said calmly. "Saber, I'd suggest that you leave, but I know that you and Nogare just love to interlope."

OOC: HATE THIS POST for a lot of reasons. Least of all is I think I spelled 'prying' wrong.

"You'd kill me?" Relinquos spat, "Here in front of all these people? Do you even know who I am?" When he asked the question, he didn't make it sound like a threat, trying to suggest that the strange man was dealing with the wrong person. He asked because he didn't think the man with the flaming sword knew who he was. He couldn't remember if they had ever met each other.

Then Relinquos studied his features, and a look of utter confusion came across his face when he realized the man was a Sheikah. The castle authorities wouldn't send a Sheikah to arrest a Sheikah for being a Sheikah. That was just... wrong. He had to be working for Wyndisis. Relinquos' eyes burned with rage, just like the fire on Kasei's sword. He was hardly in the opening stages of planning Wyndisis' death and the slimy fish had already sent someone to arrest him. He only hoped that Kasei would take him directly to Wyndisis, then maybe, just maybe, he could muster up enough of the Black Fire's power to allow him to destroy the Zora.

Relinquos raised his voice and said, "But go ahead, take me somewhere and torture me, kill me, somewhere where no one will see."

Kasei chuckled. So Darilan wanted to make a scene. That was fine, it wouldn't really matter. "I only need to detain you; but killing you works fine too. Either way, you aren't leaving here freely." Kasei said. He then dropped his sword to the ground, where it stuck blade down, the fire that engulfed the blade moved out rapidly, to create a firery circle around those close by.

"I'll ask you once more, come with me for questioning." Kasei demanded sternly.

Guards appeared not too far away, called over by citizens who noticed trouble brewing. They saw the fire and began charging over, only to stop upon noticing Kasei. If the man had business that required his specialty, they could do nothing to stop him; only pray that he doesn't destroy the surroundings.

Relinquos looked hopeful when he thought help was on the way, but then they stopped. It was then that he knew he was dealing with someone he didn't want to mess with. The fact that the several guards wouldn't even attempt to stop Kasei causing him trouble was a testament to the magnitude of his power. They could have at least tried to put out the fire. They must have been so utterly terrified to not even tell the man that he was scaring the citizens. It was clear that he was dealing with one of the most powerful people in Hyrule, hell, perhaps the world.

Though it was obvious that Kasei could kill him with a snap of a finger or with a bat of an eyelid, if he needed questions answered, he wouldn't kill him. Perhaps the man would be kind enough to let him ask a question of his own. Relinquos knew it was probably suicide, but he said anyway, "I will let you ask one question if you answer one of mine. Who sent you to arrest me?"

Kasei smiled. Darilan-or whatever his name was-was attempting to buy time it seemed. Well, regardless, the man had few options as far as escaping was concerned. The Rebel Flame looked around to observe the situation, then decided that it could not hurt to answer his targets query; the people around him clearly wanted to get on with their days fire-free.

"As far as who sent me is concerned; no one has. I am Kasei Dornmos Gobi, recently assigned Junior-ranked General of Hyrule's military, thanks to the current crisis surrounding the exiles and the Hakiems tribe." The Shiekah explained. He was careful to not mention that he was a temporary General. Perhaps the higher in rank he appeared the less likely this man was to resist.

"I have answered your question, and here is one of my own; Where is Wyndisis, and if possible, do you know the approximate number of followers he has?" Kasei requested simply. Wyndisis was a danger; not only on his own, but Kasei knew that any man like that may have recieved an invitation to the dark army.

Relinquos was visibly relieved. Kasei was under the false impression that he was still loyal to Wyndisis. While he wanted to be more discrete than just saying, hey, I'm planning to kill Wyndisis, the general was not asking questions that would require him to reveal his desire to kill the Zora. Still, he couldn't appear to eager to answer the questions. Well, on second thought, the guy had a flaming sword, who could blame him for answering honestly?

He mirrored Kasei's smile. Relinquos was tempted to tell the general that the deal was he ask one question, not two, but he didn't want to press his luck. "You held up your end of the bargain, and so shall I. Wyndisis spends most of his time on Parapa Peninsula, particularly in his headquarters, which are just located along the east shoreline." He paused to think; he really didn't know how many followers Wyndisis had. "As for how many followers he has, I don't know. A conservative estimate would be several dozen."

Kasei was relieved slightly when Darilan answered the questions. "well then," he began with a sigh, "this information could prove a bit useful. For now, I don't know what to do with you. I would advise that you do not leave the town, however." He claimed, as the fires surrounding them receeded and people hurried past. Kasei turned his back to Darilan. "I lost sight of you in the crowd. Don't let me spy you around here again, brother of darkness." He claimed finally, before seeming to vanish into the new surge of people.

"Well..."

Sabertache looked from Kasei's retreating back, then to Darilan.

"That was a pretty dick move."

He stuck his arms out to the side, tensing up and yawning as he stretched.

"Now, what were we doing?"

"That was unnecessary, indeed," Relinquos said. He could sort of understand Kasei's seemingly unprovoked attack, though. "Brother of darkness," he scoffed. "I suppose I'm evil by association." Relinquos knew his partnership with Wyndisis tainted his image, and it was time to sever ties with the Zora.

"The Zora," Relinquos said, "we have to destroy him." He lowered his voice. "I mentioned that Wyndisis's underlings will be a problem if we kill him. I wonder if there is a way to get them out of the way beforehand."

Nogare was slightly tempted to withhold Kasei from making such a scene throughout, but knew silently that he knew what he was doing. Nogare had watched the momentary interrogation and the scene the Rebel Flame had made, and felt behind him the presence of the guards coming. Perhaps this was overdone, but Kasei had things under control... No doubt getting used to his outrageous amount of power... he sighed and waiting the scene out...

When Sabertache at last broke the silence, and Kasei had disappeared, Nogare faced the guards and gave them leave, saying that the situation was under control, and that there was nothing to see. The confused group left, and Nogare faced Relinquos again.

"You came here looking for allies, friend. You have us. You are an enemy of powerful people, if this Zora you speak of has that much authority. You are not sure who to trust, but you came here seeking some who may. And I will at least aid you in your mission if it means weakening the Exiles and their allies, or any other enemy of Hyrule for that matter. But if we find that this Zora and his followers are loyal to Hyrule, you may want to consider whether or not General Kasei was serious about his threats. Torture found elsewhere may be considered mercy.

"Now... you know as well as I do that his followers could be here and we may not know it, eavesdropping. Every word spoken will likely return to him. I can't imagine he'd let you wander here unwatched. Which is why I made my suggestion. But at this point we have another war at hand, against this... what was his name? Wyndisis? We'll do what we can to stop him. For now, we need to prepare. Let's get out of earshot and start formulating this. Do you have someplace in the city to stay?

"I have a house in Rauru Town. We should go there, make sure we there are no unwanted guests waiting for us, then continue formulating our plans." Relinquos thought for a moment. That was a bad idea. Wyndisis might have his people watching the house from a distance. They should go somewhere Wyndisis wouldn't expect them to be. "Wait, I have a better idea. We should meet somewhere in the forest, perhaps outside the mine entrance, northwest of here. There isn't a lot of traffic through that area and we can mask ourselves in the darkness."

Nogare nodded in understanding. "Your home could be infested with your enemies and our enemies, but... the Goro Goro Cartel has shipments by there all the time... But the mines ARE vast... And forests are amassed with small Exile camps. It's hard to decide. It's your call... Either way, this is the last place to prepare... Let's get out of here, thanks to Kasei attention's been drawn to you, so we should start by at least getting to the Caravan Quarter... Be on your guard though... A few adventurers likely won't be much of a scare to a handful of your Zora's followers, or perhaps even his superiors if he has them, which we may find in due time."

Nogare scanned the crowd, opening his mind to enemies in the crowd. "We're clear for now. Let's keep it that way. Let's get on a caravan and decide where we're to go from there."

OOC: Doesn't mean we have to open a topic in the caravan quarter, but ya, your topic, we'll see how this plays out. As long as we get to kick some Wyndisis butt lol.

"The forest near the mines will do just fine," Relinquos said. Going to the Caravan Quarter made sense, and it was a much shorter walk, but he had to make it look like he knew what he was doing. "There may be exiles there, but not all of them are friendly to what's-his-face. Let us meet at dusk, along the south facing cliff, east of the mine's entrance. As long as we are away from the road, I don't think anyone will come across us."
