Oh dear...that much just for a slingshot? Well, I shall have to scrimp and scrounge around for Rupees, mayhap.

"You will come about rupees quicker and easier than you would expect. Here is ten for you right now," Darilan says with a grin. He hands two blue rupees over to Arthur.

(Aside) All right, this is getting ridiculous! At this rate, we'll all have to be at level 6 before we can have the equipment we need to fight much of anything!

OOC: Well, Arthur... at your current rate of 15 posts a day, level 6 is only a couple weeks away! ^^ Plus, maybe the Hyrule Adventurer's first Event/Fight will have all enemies scaled to our abilities? So no worries there! *grin*

Blank grabs an Ammo Bag and a Bow out of the stock and pays for it grudgingly. On his way out, he turns and looks at the shopkeep with an expression of scorn and hate.

Overcharging bastard.

He then sulks off and heads to the Shooting Gallery to try his hand at aiming precision.

Lady Rose thought about getting another bow, but decided on the boomerang again. It wouldn't hurt to try a new weapon, and she didn't have a steady supply of income to afford arrows. "Before I forget," she says. "The shopkeeper of the Shooting Gallery sent me over here."

After the vassal had finally been recovered from his fight with Kasei and Kairos in Tantari, he came to the Golden Quiver Shop. When he approached the front, Nogare, while hiding his left hand, said to the clerk, "Hello. I'm no archer, but I need a pair of gloves..."

It was 125 rupees gone, but he needed the gloves. He couldn't let anyone else know that his left ring finger was cut off. This would hide it well enough.

When the clerk had given him the Gerudo gloves, he put them on quickly, and walked out of the building, without even thanking the man.

OOC: Hey mister narrator sir, as a ranger would it be possible to wield a bow or slingshot, or can I just use a boomerang?

OOC: Narrator doesn't play anymore, so I'll answer this one. :D You can get a bow and slingshot, but you have to use a boomerang in official battles. And also, you have to have learned to train with a boomerang in order to use it. Savy?

OOC: Actually, Nogare, anyone is free to use the Bow, Slingshot, and Boomerang, regardless of class. The catch is that, depending on your class, it will cost a whole lot more to purchase the abilities necessary to use them. But as long as you have the correct Train abilities, it's fine to use any of those weapons in stat fights.

So, to answer your question Leth, yes, you can use the Slingshot and Bow as well as the Boomerang. However, for Vagabonds, the skills required to use them cost an additional TP.

Ahh... I see. One more thing, I don't get the deal with the ammo. How do you get some?

OOC: Outside of Events, you can simply RP having ammunition for your weaponry. In Events, however, you must purchase ammo beforehand, for 1 Rupee per arrow/seed. Ammo is only offered before Events, and if it is unused by the time the Event is completed, it is lost - no refunds.

What kind of events? And who supplies it? Hmm. I should probably post this in the new members forum, even though I'm not such a new member now... Oh well. So I'm naughty.
