"Oh, no you don't, you bastard," Lady Rose shouted, dashing towards the demon, her dagger in front of her.

OOC: Just to let you know, Lady Rose does cuss when she's angry. Hey, she was in an army. What do you expect?

OOC: That's ok. I really dont mind.

IC:
What did you just call me? And whats with the dagger!?

Then Cloud realized the demon wasn't dead. It clamped onto Cloud's head and tried to pull it off.

Get...it...off of me! Please...Lady Rose, I can't'...breathe!


Cloud was dying, and fast. If Lady Rose's attack wasn't the final one, he would die.

Lady Rose dashed forward, trying to stab the demon.

As if the godsesses themselves guided Lady Rose, her dagger sliced through the demon's arm and forced it to release Cloud. Cloud had only seconds of conciousness left, and with it, he cast Favor of the Goddesses on Lady Rose, giving her enough strength to deliver the final blow.

Lady Rose felt the strength coming into her and she attacked the demon without hesitation, hoping she would finally kill it.

The demon screeched in pain, he finally died. but what about Cloud? Is he alive? Better go see!

Lady Rose went over to Cloud. "Cloud, are you all right?" she asked, concerned.

Cloud started to stir. Atleast you know he is alive. But he didn't speak, he was still unconcious and had greivous wounds on the sides of his neck.

Ugh...Lady Rose, are you ok?

This was knid of a stupid question for Cloud to be asking, for he was in more danger than Lady Rose was.

Is the monster dead?

Lady Rose breathed a sigh of relief when Cloud spoke. "I hope that thing's dead," she replied. "I think we should get you back to North Castle. There is a place to heal wounds there, right?"

I belive there is...i might be able to walk.

Cloud tried to get up, he came back down on his left leg, it was broken.

Ugh, i think my leg is broken.

"Damn it," Lady Rose said under her breath. "The most I can do is apply a splint," she said louder. "I don't know any healing spells, or any spells for that matter."

Yes, a splint would help.

Cloud pulled himself upright.

I can use my staff as a crutch.

Lady Rose found some wood and took an extra shirt from her bag. She tore the shirt in two and used it to apply the splint. "Okay, Cloud," she said. "Let's get you to North Castle."

Thank you, I owe you my life. If there is anything i can do to repay you, go ahead and tell me.

Cloud looked at Ladt=y Rose and smiled. It looks like Cloud has made another friend.

"Well, right now, a jerkin would be helpful," Lady Rose said, "but I doubt you have a spare one to give me. If I ever do need your help, I'll let you know."
