"I am elated that you have welcomed me to your home, OOC: Servant... <_<... IC: Dogura! I have scarcely been invited to a house in honour of being almost killed!" Nogare was a polite man when he was being respected himself. "The only time I have felt this honoured was when I was knighted by Collonius himself." Nogare obviously understood and respected the code of chivalry, for it was in his very character. "Now!" he said, as he looked around the rest of the room. "Er... did I miss the party? Am I too late?"

Dogura was picking up garbage, when Kasei stormed out. "Hmph... Where did he learn manners, or did he at all?" He noticed Nogare, and sighed. "I'm sorry nogare! You're a little late. The party just ended. There is some cake left though!" He turned around, and noticed the imprint of a certain warriors face. "Umm... Well, I guess we're fresh out of stuff. I'm terribly sorry Nogare." Dogura bowed to the man, and continued cleaning, when Darkin wheeled around the corner, almost smashing into Nogare. "Woah! Sorry Nogare!" Darkin cried racing around him, and out the door.

Dogura chuckled. "Where could such a simp be headed so fast? Don't mind him Nogare." Dogura made a stop to the trash can. "Hey Nogare, how about a little spar after I finish cleaning this dump? I could use a little biy of practice." The samurai began washing dishes when a knock at the door signaled another guest. "Hey Nogare, could you get that? I'm a little tied up at the moment!" Dogura called out, scrubbing a large pan.

Nogare nodded. "I understand a lot; the party begins, and you are on duty. But I don't mind if I'm late, as long as I'm not disrupting anythin-"

It was then that Darkin shot around the corner. "Woah!" Nogare stepped out of the way to let the other man pass. "You know me? I don't think I've met you before. I must be quite famous for some I've never seen to know me. I respect that." But the same question ran through his head that Dogura just asked Darkin. Where was he headed? Well, he guessed that time would tell...

Time... time... oddly enough, the word seemed to be spoken to him by a voice in his head several times... Time... time... His right palm, which held Belegcam vaguely began to glow gray... The spear felt as though it were becoming thicker in his hand... sweat began to roll down his head. He was shaking. Veins tensed in his forehead. The word repeated again and again... until a louder voice spoke new words... and from the first moment, he knew he was having a vision of the past...

"Ermenel... take it... take the greatest thing I have..." it was mild, female voice.
Then a male's voice said, "You cannot give me this..."
"I will give it to who I think needs it..."
"But... the Turiluve...?"
"I know it is safe in your hands."
"But the Enemy..."
"They will never take it from you... I promise."
There was a pause.
"Very well... I had better get Nogare; we need to get to the castle."
"I'm right here!" the voice is now a younger voice, of a lad of the age 7 or 8.
"Good lad. Now, come! We only have five days to get from Saria to North Castle unnoticed by anyone."
"Okay." There was then the sound of them getting onto the saddle of a horse.
"I will treasure this day forever, mother!" cries the voice of Ermenel. Then there was a sudden hasty gallop.
After some time, the little boy asked the older one, "Ermenel... why are we running away from home?"
There was a silence. After it came Ermenel's hesitant voice. "Nogare... the Death Mountain is very close to home... we don't have any other choice than to run away. Death Mountain holds terrible things... I won't tell you about them, but they are terrible."
"And where's father?"
Another terribly long silence followed. Then a sniff from Ermenel. "He is gone."
"Where?" Nogare's voice is suddenly very worried.
"... In the Heaven's Realm."
"You mean..." the lad sniffled, and then lightly sobbed. "... dead?"
"No. Just captive, if not dead already. Hope for the best, lad."
"But... will I see him again?"
Ermenel ignored him. He could not tell. "Only time will tell..."
The something caught the older man's eye; something in a brush near the road... something was wrong...
Then an arrow wizzed through the air, and struck Ermenel in the shoulder. "Gah!" The man fell off the horse, landing on his back. Several Goryia and unusual frogs leapt out from hiding, and attacked! Nogare had a little bit of training, but not as much as Ermenel, but he knew how to jump off a horse. He rose his legs from beside the horse's neck, and kicked himself off the horse, which wailed in pain, and was quickly struck with an arrow.
Ermenel shoved himself to his feet, and ran for the horse, slicing down any enemy in his path. In one case, he grabbed one's head, jumped off the ground, planting his feet at its face, and kicked off, causing it to fly back, and strike his head grusomely onto the road, making a splattering and cracking sound.
He yelled, "Nogare! Grab the staff!" in Ancient Hylian. Nogare quickly went to the corpse of the horse, and grabbed the staff that was there. "Don't let them have it!"
But a Goryia was just above his head. He scowled something in Infernal. He was about to strike him it his knife when luckily Ermenel had reached him, and overcame the foe.
He then reached for the staff, but seeing a bag go over Nogare's head was the last thing he saw before loosing conciousness...

Nogare was breathing heavily, gripping his shoulder with red and sweaty hands. He fell back against the door, and began to breath something continueously; "Lume! Lume! Lume!" What was the matter with him?!

OOC: Haha! A bunch of story where you'd least expect it, eh?

Dogura heard heavy breating, and turned around to see Nogare slumped against the door. "Nogare?" Dogura called out, placing the dish he was holding on the counter. Dogura walked over to Nogare, and knelt down to his level. "You like like your best friend just shot you! What happened?"

When the blackness of the vision faded, Nogare's breathing seemed to seize more quickly than what would be expected. "He looks up at Dogura. "I'm fine..."

He remembers the last thing Nogare said, somehow, even without interacting outside of the vision. "I'll get it." He got back to his feet as though nothing had happened, strangely enough. He opens the door for whoever was at the guard, not thinking about being on guard.

OOC: Again, ZV, I am sorry about the day-long delay. Almost exactly 24 hours ago :P

OOC: It's alright! Gave me time to plan a little more.

IC: Before the door could fully open, it was smashed to pieces! A large black armor plated arm reached through, and grabbed Dogura by the neck! Before the samurai could have time to react, he was flung outside, and he slammed against a tree. Complete mayhem was reighning from the black armored man. What in the hell just happened? Dogura thought, glancing up. Upon another glance, it was reccognizable only as an Iron Knuckle!

Dogura picked himself up, only to dodge an oncomming Ball and Chain! It smashed the tree jus behind where Dogura once more. "That package does not belong to you. Give it to me right now!!" The Iron Knuckle Screamed, hurling his weapon at the samurai once more. Dogura dodged again, still in disbeliefe. "What package? What are you talking about?!" The Iron Knuckle seemed annoyed by the question. "Dont play stupid with me! Hand it over this instant!!"

CRUSH!!!

Nogare had leaned backwards to dodged it, as though he expected the blow, though there was obvious shock in his eyes. He obtained Belegcam, and within a matter of seconds, Nogare was running at the Iron Knuckle, and he concentrated on striking just under its helm...

Come on...

The Iron Knuckle had underestimated (or hadnent payed attention at all to) Nogare, and was about to pay the ultimate price! With a large BANG, the Iron Knuckle's helmet was flung off of the bohemith's head. This gave Dogura enough time to Focus a Mind Bind.
Mind Bind new skill
Allows Dogura to take controll of the enemy's mind, and immobilize it for a short time.
"Nogare! Finish it off!" Dogura cried out, his hands pointed outward at the foe.

OOC: How lucky for you. Not only did i make this a good part of my story, but you got to witness a new skill in action! :)

Nogare'sblow missed, but as he saw the skill be preformed, he was astonished, and couldn't move for a long second. How can he do that? Not even I can preform such a power! How can this be... he is definately much more than meets the eye... he chuckled in his mind, and made no visible emotion of humor. Instead, he obeyed Dogura as quickly as he could, but knew if the blow was strong enough alone, he could kill it with one blow, despite the armor.

"Honourable Kill!!!" He batted his spear across the Iron Knuckle's throat. He knew that even as the attack had such a name, it didn't mean what it's name was. So unhonourable; killing a foe who cannot fight back... So unhonourable...

Nogare's staff hit home, as the Knuckle coughed up blood, and fell to the ground, lying on his back. Dogura released the Mind Bind (as if he could have held it much longer anyways) and cautiously crept over to the Iron knuckle. "What package? What do you want? I think you attacked the wrong man." The knuckle pointed a finger at Dogura. "I am certain of it. You... You have what my Boss requires..." The Knuckle's voice was raspy, most likely due to the fatal slam to his neck. Dogura leaned over. "What? What is your Boss's name? What does he want?"

The monster just sneered, and just before dying, sputtered out: "Heh... As if you're supposed to know... But beware... The news of my death will soon spread... and you'll be safe no wehere..." With that, the Knuckle passed on, and poes appeared on the scene to reep his soul. Dogura stood up after the Poe's performed their grim ritual, and looked up at the sky. "What is it? I dont have anything that this man's Boss would want... And just who is this man?" The samurai's eyes then met with Nogare's. "I dont think it's safe for me to stay here. Where do you suggest we go? I'm at a loss of words..." Dogura was obviously concerned with the welfare of his home. "Perhaps we should head to my cottage in Parapa Desert."

Dogura nervously glanced at Kasei. "Kasei! By being here with me, you put yourself in danger. We have to move. Quickly, everyone, to my summer cottage. We'll take the path through Deku forest!" Dogura dissapeared inside of his house, and returned suited up in his armor. "Lets move!" The vagabond lead the way through the brush, and into the sands of Tantari Desert.

OOC: Anyone who would like to join, I'm sorry but this will cinsist only of Nogare, Kasei, and I. There is room for a fourth person, amd if you would like to join, meet in Tantari clearing, by the cafe.

Nogare didn't reply to Dogura's question, because, even as he was a foe, he could have been like the rest of the Darknuts; Hylians and Humans alike, have sheets of metal welded to their flesh, and are brainwashed until their master releases the spell (Which, for many Darknuts' case, never happened). Nogare still awe-struck by Dogura magic. This isn't possible... I don't think I know Dogura half as well as he knows himself... he is definately hiding something from me... Unless... His eyes suddenly stared at Dogura. It can't be... he shouldn't... It was against His will! Such things are forbidden in magic... I will think twice now before trusting him...

He looked away quickly, and thankful, though unhappy, to see Kasei come. He remained silent as Kasei questioned the situation. His mind was racing with so many things. Would Emrys ever forgive him for befriending Dogura...?! Did The samurai on his guard when he did that? Questions obviously flew into his brain faster than answers did.

When he came back to his senses, he heard Dogura speak of them having to leave quickly. "What?" Although he knew the answer to his question already... Then something struck his mind; "What about my job as a Hylian Knight?! What about the defending against the Exiles? Would that be in danger because of coming here? Or would it be just against the Exiles.

Either way, I have to trust someone I can't...

Nogare inhaled and exhaled. "Fine. Lead the way." Though I won't nessisarily follow... Nogare's bladed ear twitched as the blood of the Iron Knuckle dripped and splattered lightly on the wooden floor. He was breathing deeply, though not as badly as a few moments ago.

What a turn of events; first I go after being invited to visit a once-trusted friend, and suddenly I have to leave my own plans and duties to assist that friend. How can I get out of this? Should I abandon him? He considered... Something inside of him told him no. He had to come. He couldn't have told you why if you asked him. Maybe he still thought Dogura of as a friend even after preforming such a thing...
