Hyrule Adventures 2

Murray's tongue had taken marriage with the clenched teeth that lined the roof and pallet of his maw in regards to the weary and oppressive toil that reigns between wedded days of the moon and the sun, in other words, he's not one to mention or humor the thoughts and annoyances of manual labor. Where as today he moved amiably, gleeful within the cracked and crooked lines that stretched wildly across his face as he limped towards the goron-today, would be one less day that starved him of strength or rest.

The deku wood that had marred his leg with scratches that etched on his skin like chalk to a board of stone requiem had finally arrived to its destination, and with good company, for the pile was high above Murray's back and mirrored the stomach that dragged lethargically below like a boulder above the crystals of a watery abode-but that's of no mind as the smile still plastered his carved countenance.

'Here ya go...boy.' Escaped his mouth with a thud and a glimmer in his tapered eyes as they welded the wood to his employer's hands thick and supple hands.

"I don't sup-pose you heard ah-any more work, round her?" he said, the joke escaping the ear of any audience as it garbled between lapping movements of his tongue and teeth and the weight of his face on his words, let alone the smile that impeded them.

That grin stretching the skin of his face, a testament in itself as it, no doubt, took effort lifting the weight of his age and cheeks as a wholesome laugh regurgitated from the bowels of his stomach.

"HA HA!"

Eberron listened to this odd person whose looks were so similar to his, while his manner of speech and movement were so different. Still, Eberron knew the value that wood had from his time as a child.

"There's somewhere where I can get this wood? Perhaps I can get some for myself as well... But of course I'll give as much as you need to you! I know how important wood is."

Eberron let off another of his grins and turned away from the goron, his bag swaying slightly as he wondered off towards his new destination.

LATER...

Eberron moved back through the crowds and towards the Goron.

"Here is the wood you wanted! I got it from a tree myself."

Eberron felt particularly proud of this little achievement and placed the wood in front of the Goron, blushing slightly as he did so. Hiding his face further into his large hat so as to hide his slightly awkward embarrassment.

"I'll see you later then."

Chisalu held it out, gingerly, the bark scratching at her skin. "Here" She said quietly. "It might not help...or it might" She flushed, lest anyone note her good deed. But wood wasn't very useful to her personally, so she might as well give it away.

Ryou walks towards the Goron confidently, observing the unfortunate fellows plight. With a slow motion, he unceremoniously drops a bundle of wood into the Goron's calloused hands.

"I heard you needed this" Ryou states pragmatically.

Well that wasn't so hard.... Quickly bundling a cord of rope, he places it in his belt, and disappears into the wilderness.

Anon walks by a sad looking goron with a broken axel. "Need sone help?"Anon asks. He listens to the goron's story. "Need some wood ya say? Well this is your lucky day. I got some wood right here."

Hunter walked by the goron and his cart. The frantic goron wasn't too interesting, but the contents of the cart caught his attention. "What seems to be the problem?" he asked the goron. He listened to his story. "I have some wood, but do you have anything reward? Works for me." He handed him the wood.
